Blooms Task Ideas Traditional Tales

Remembering
Brainstorm a list of characters in fairytales. Make a display with images and labels.

Understanding
Use a Double Bubble Map to compare the characteristics and behaviours of two fairytale characters (use images) listing the similarities and differences. Classify your list of characters. eg Under headingsVillains, Victims, Heroes

Applying
Select and alter a Fairytale poem or saying to make it relevant to 21st century situations. Skate, skate as fast as you can...

Creating
Compose an email to a slighted character eg. Troll, Wolf apologising for their behaviour towards them. Create a slideshow (3slides) using a fairytale structure & problem to tell their own tale, and make choices -set 2day. Draw a picture of a moment from a known fairytale where the character makes an important choice. Explain what they should do(use
