Your lmportant Inputs ...................... Our Newest YOUR LODGE, THEN & NOW ..... In Memoriam: Birthdays for this Month ................. PROCLAMATION
So many brothers say, "l don'l know anyone now.'' Well, whose fault is that?? YOURS. for not attendino and allowing others to get to know you better.
Many say that they are unhappy with what's going on within the lodge, yet ihey do not come out to be seen, express their opinion, or casttheirvole. Those of us who attend on a regular basis, o!'at least as often as we can, would appreciate the opportunity to shake a different hand. Your officers, who would like to demonstrate their ritual skills. and enthusiasm. might even try a little harder if shown or given reason to do so.
bout a year ago, I did a lodge was without support from so many of its mem bers. There was no single answer. Then and now, the situation is the same. The same general membership attends
So should it be with your lodge. Ycur appearance, attendance, and involvenoent can and will show positive results. At
I have not maintained statistics for special events such as dinners, breakfasts, award programs, funerals, or other special functions, but I am quite confldenl the facts would be the same: Little supportfrom members who could attend, butwho

the presenl time, your lodge is suffering, not from financial distress, but from the lack of your personal support. We must set aside personal animosities or ill feelings from something in the pasi, and begin again to concentrate on helping the lodge to grow- We ned officers. We need those who do not care to be an officer, but who can help;n other ways.
You can serve on a ccrnmittee, help in the kitchen, even take a part in a degree by giving a charge or whatever part you would iike. You do nothaveto be an officerto be active in ritual work. We also need warm bodies in attendance on the sidelines: to betherewhen a brotherrecieves his nextdegree; to take his hand into yours in brotherhood and congratulation. We need less APATHY. We need more of YOU!!! Submitted bv Frank G. Martin. PM
provided such as age, health, work hours, don't drive at night, can't leave the wife alone, and any number of othet excuses you care to create. fExcuses /'s fhe nght word;fcr each, there is a resonable alternative - always. Ed.)
My brothers, I am not asking the impossible; I am asking you to show your support to the fraternity which you apparently believed in when you became a Master Mason, and to the lodge you had an interest in at that time.

vehicle entering the park. The way around this is to have a "SeniorCitizen" in each vehicle and caroool. Car pools are recommended because of the parking in the park. We do not want to destroy any of ihe vegetation by creating our own personal parking spaces. The fewer the vehicles in the park, the. better. Drive to the Lodge and hitch a ride from there.
