So many brothers say, "l don'l know anyone now.'' Well, whose fault is that?? YOURS. for not attendino and allowing others to get to know you better.

Many say that they are unhappy with what's going on within the lodge, yet ihey do not come out to be seen, express their opinion, or casttheirvole. Those of us who attend on a regular basis, o!'at least as often as we can, would appreciate the opportunity to shake a different hand. Your officers, who would like to demonstrate their ritual skills. and enthusiasm. might even try a little harder if shown or given reason to do so.

the presenl time, your lodge is suffering, not from financial distress, but from the lack of your personal support. We must set aside personal animosities or ill feelings from something in the pasi, and begin again to concentrate on helping the lodge to grow- We ned officers. We need those who do not care to be an officer, but who can help;n other ways.
You can serve on a ccrnmittee, help in the kitchen, even take a part in a degree by giving a charge or whatever part you would iike. You do nothaveto be an officerto be active in ritual work. We also need warm bodies in attendance on the sidelines: to betherewhen a brotherrecieves his nextdegree; to take his hand into yours in brotherhood and congratulation. We need less APATHY. My brothers, I am not asking the impossible; I am asking you to show your support to the fraternity which you apparently believed in when you became a Master Mason, and to the lodge you had an interest in at that time.
