DURATION 2 Days PROGRAMME OVERVIEW The primary aim of this workshop is to provide managers with a framework for effectively coaching, counselling, leading and motivating their staff to achieve organisational excellence. Managers will learn valuable techniques and tools in effectively communicating performance related concerns with employees and handling other work related grievances. Upon attending this 2-days workshop, the participants will realise the importance of effective employee coaching and counselling practices to improve on-the-job performance and boost employee morale. PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES Upon completion of this programme, the participants should be able to: Clarify the integral role of coaching and counselling in a managers responsibilities Be familiarised with common coaching, counselling, leading and motivating strategies to build satisfying workplace partnerships Identify employees with problems and grievances who need coaching and/or counselling Understand the key skills required to conduct a counselling interview Develop guidelines to prepare and conduct a coaching and counselling session Identify a suitable coaching and counselling model appropriate to the situation WHO SHOULD ATTEND Middle management staffs including Assistant Managers, Executives and others who need to enhance their current coaching and counselling skills.
