Petrophysic analysis limestone from Kemadang village and potentially to be reservoir rock

Copyright 2011, This paper was created to fullfiled one of requirements to follow AIB response in UPN Veteran Yogyakarta Student Chapter 2011 porous is pore large space in rock, the function are to store fluids, porosity can be calculated by two methods. There are, the weighing method and mercury injection pump. Our group calculated the porosity of carbonate- kind rock that used the weighing method And permeability, that mean the ability to channel fluids, permeability can be calculated by two tools, that is with gas permeameter and liquid permeameter, and the result to obtained the absolute permeability in kemadang village distric tanjungsari around gunung kidul approximately 55 KM from Yogyakarta and 5 KM form baron beach with the rock around the village are limestone, limestone are made from sedimentation klastik process because there are result from nonklastic rock which taken along by transfortation process so organic compound fuse become limestone and probably the rock are made in middle meosen time, which predict to be potential reservoir rock with researching and search porosity, permeability, and rock condition if flowed by acid. So can also predict productivity if become reservoir rock by using scales of porosity with weigh method ,searching permeability with gas permeametra, and determine levels of acid soluble. Result 1. Abstract Kemadang village, Tanjungsari district, Gunung Kidul, as the area have typically rock of reservoir rocks which could predict whether potential reservoirs, generally reservoirs made from carbonate rocks or limestone and sandstone. Reservoir rock have the ability to store and channel HC fluids so it can be predict or estimate the characteristic of reservoir rock in Kemadang village, Tanjungsari gunung kidul to know the productivity of reservoirs by searching porosity and permeability , by using scales of porosity with weigh method , search permeability with gas permeametra, and determine levels of acid soluble. Preface crude oil are made from ancient animal fossils was buried in the soil ,then which is deposited on the environment of deposition on land, sea, and transition. Along with time all the remaining ancient animal formed to become a source rock which will be heated by magma and geothermal during certain time (geological time) until it will become oil, that oil will enter into reservoir rock and experience until stop by cap rock and trap in this situation oil will urge water in reservoir rock and the oil will be trapped. Hidrocarbon fluids or oil are keep inside the pore from reservoir rock which are generally sand stone and limestone. Reservoir rock are rock that have the ability to store and channel Hidrocarbon fluid that is the condition for the reservoir rock to be formed. For the reservoir rock to be formed must be porous and permeable.

So results of porosity can be that prices are taken from a sample of carbonated rock or limestone is 30,5%, which can be classified in excellent porosity, 2. rocks because if reservoir rock is flowed by acid it will be eroded and destroyed. porosity rock can be located in Kemadang village Tanjungsari district, gunung kidul has a porosity of 30,5%, which can be classified these excellent in porosity, the so that of possibility of hydrocarbon accumulation in rock, calculation permeability 0.139 Darcy. Because using gas permeameter in experiment to search in this permeability then this permeability is gas absolute, the result of acidizing calculation is 47% in 30 minute with the accommodate residue 12 gram and the that has been extracted by acid is 25,2 gram if reservoir rock is flowed by acid it will be eroded and destroyed because acid are reacted with limestone. Because in this experiment the price of porosity and permeability which mean that rock have porosity and permeability so that rock can be said to be reservoir rock, but the rock from experiment didnt have high productivity because rocks because if reservoir rock is flowed by acid it will be eroded and destroyed. Conclution From the experimental results, can be found that carbonate or limestone rocks from the village Kemadang Tanjungsari District, south of the mountain has a porosity of 30,5% which can be classified as sufficient porosity, the permeability is 1.746 Darcy because these rocks have a porosity of rock and pemeability then it became a reservoir rock, but it cant be a productive reservoir
