ADMISSION NOTICE Application on prescribed form are invited for admission to PhD degree programme in Faculty of Agriculture under following departments/subjects on free and payment seats during second semester of academic session 2011-12 PhD (Agriculture) : 1. Vegetable Science Application forms and detailed information including fees structure, etc. can be downloaded from the University website www.rvskvv.nic.in The downloaded form must accompany application fee of Rs. 250/- (Rupees two hundred and fifty only) in the shape of Indian Postal Order or Bank Draft in favour of RVSKVV payable at Gwalior. Admission forms duly filled in all respect should be submitted by the candidate to the Director Instruction, Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya, Gwalior -474002 on or before 07/12/2011 up to 5.00 pm. Those candidates who have submitted their application in response to advertisement No. DI/Acd./2011-12/554 Dated 29/06/2011 need not submit application again. However they have to submit additional information not submitted earlier along with the Provisional Degree Certificate/Notification. Intimation for the dates for counselling can be had from the website and updated information about counselling programme will also be available on RVSKVV website www.rvskvv.nic.in.

4. Mode of selection The candidates under each category will be selected for admission on merit basis through counseling 5. Medium of Instruction The medium of instruction shall be English in all Ph.D. programmes. 6. Hostel facilities Moderately furnished single/double seated room are available in hostels. Electricity bill will have to be paid by students as per rule and consumption of energy / electricity. 7. Medical facilities A part time doctor is available for consultation for the students and staff in college dispensary. 8. Library facilities College has been provided with a library, which is equipped with CD-ROM facility, updated CDs containing references/abstracts of articles on different subjects. 9. Preference will be given to RVSKVV post graduates for admission to Ph.D. Programmes. 10. Fees to be paid Fees (in Rs.) as applicable to different programmes are given below:

INSTRUCTION FOR FILLING THE APPLICATION FORM 1. Application form in duplicate is to be filled in correctly by the candidates in their own handwriting. 2. Please read the booklet Brief Information for Students carefully before filling the application form. 3. Applicants who do not fulfill the minimum admission requirements laid down in the Brief Information for Students need not apply. Such applications are liable to be rejected. 4. Please attach two sets of photocopies of the following documents, one set with each copy of the application from. (a) Marks sheet of each examination, which indicates the correct date of birth of the applicant. (b) Certificate of Higher Secondary / HSSC examination, which indicates the correct date of birth of the applicants. (c) Two passport size photographs to be pasted on the application. (d) College leaving and / or migration certificate, as the case may be. (e) Provisional Degree Certificate (PDC) of Graduation. (f) Transcript of Graduation. (g) Provisional Degree Certificate (PDC) of Post Graduation. (h) Transcript of Post Graduation. (i) Gap Affidavit Certificate, if any. (j) Caste certificate for reserve category (k) M.P. Domicile certificate (l) Income certificate (m) All the certificates / testimonials must be duly attested by gazetted officer.

5. Attach photocopies of all certificates / testimonials between pages 2 and 3 of each set of the application form. Tie the application and other papers by means of a tag or twine and submit to the Director Instruction, Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya, Race Course Road, Opp. Mela Ground, Gwalior- 474 002 either by post or in person on or before 07/12/2011 upto 5.00 pm 6. Application received after the due date or without certificates / testimonials will not be entertained. 7. Any change in format of the submitted application derived from website, if found, shall be treated rejection of the candidature for counseling / admission. 8. List of candidates selected by the Vishwa Vidyalaya for admission will be displayed on the Notice Board. 9. The Vishwa Vidyalaya will not entertain any correspondence regarding admission forms of those who could not be selected for admission. 10.
