AFTER nearly 16 years at its site in Johnston, local registered charity
Pembrokeshire FRAME is relocating its services to provide an improved environment for customers and work practice participants. The Welsh Governments Community Facilities and Activities Fund and the Collaborative Communities Fund were instrumental in assisting FRAME with grants towards the purchase of the building. COMMUNITY re-use scheme Pembrokeshire FRAME an award winning social enterprise recently relocated to Old Hakin Road, Merlins Bridge where, to start with, it is occupying the renovated print room space adjoining the Western Telegraph offices. When the Telegraph relocates to new premises, FRAME will occupy the whole building. The warehouses and shop in Johnston closed over a weekend in order to facilitate the move and reopened on Monday November 24th in the new premises. FRAMEs chief executive Jenny Sims said: We are all very excited about opening FRAMEs new facility in Merlins Bridge, which will improve our customers experience of the scheme and also give FRAME a more professional image. It will give our participants an enhanced and more realistic environment in which to develop and practice their skills in the workplace, helping us to provide improved training opportunities. Jenny said the organisation would like to express its heartfelt thanks to its many loyal customers for their fantastic support over the years; and staff and participants at FRAME look forward to their continued support at its new location.
