4 A RESOLUTION TERMINATING THE MEMBERSHIP IN THE USLS STUDENT ORGANIZATION OF ACEREY POBLACION, A SENATOR FROM THE COLLEGE OF BUSINESS AND ACCOUNTANCY.

WHEREAS, Article VIII of the Legislative Branch, Section 4.d of the Student Organization Constitution of 2003 states that the Blue Ribbon Committee has the power and function to oversee all matters pertaining to the accountability of all elected and appointed officers of the Student Government, including the sanction or expulsion of any officer; WHEREAS, Article V Section 1 of the Student Organization Constitution of 2003 states that the membership in the USLS SO shall be a privilege granted only to all bona fide college students of the University of St. La Salle; WHEREAS, Article V Section 2 of the Student Organization Constitution of 2003 states that students enrolled in any college course, with the exemption of the non-credit and cross enrollees, shall be awarded the bona fide status; WHEREAS, Article V Section 2 of the Student Organization Constitution of 2003 states that the membership is terminated when the student is no longer enrolled in the University; NOW IN VIEW OF THE FOREGOING; BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Student Senate of the USLS, that the termination of membership of Ms. Acerey Poblacion in her position as the USG Senator is hereby formally declared; RESOLVED FURTHER, that the Student Senate shall take proper action in informing the Commission on Election to include the vacancy in the aforementioned position for the upcoming Special Elections; RESOLVED FURTHER, that the Committee on Issues and Advocacy shall be tasked to post copies of this resolution; RESOLVED FINALLY, the Senate Secretary will be responsible to distribute copies of this resolution to the following offices: Office of the Brother President, Vice-President for Administration, Dean of Student Affairs, Student Activities Coordinator, Executive Department, Judiciary Department, University Student Government Constitutional Commissions, and The Spectrum. This resolution shall take effect immediately after its approval.
