13.) is sunday a rest day? -generally sunday should be a restday, however any day can be a rest day not only sunday given the fact that the said employee has worked for a total of 48hrs in a week. the next 24hrs after that would be his given restday. 14.) discuss: a. overtime pay -overtime pay is the extra pay given to employees who exceed the 8hrs working period provided by the law. b. night shift differential pay -a night shift differential pay is an extra incentive given to emplyees who work between the hours of 10pm-6am, they shall be intitled to 10% of their regular hourly wage.

15.) paternity leave & maternity leave paternity leave -grants 7 working days of paternity leave with full pay to married male employees in the private and public sectors. maternity leave -is the leave given to pregnant employees where in they may enjoy a leave with pay when they will be in labor & after labor. they will also be entitled to 60day credit for normal delivery & 78day credit for ceasarian delivery.
