PreMigration scanner PreMigration scanner provides you a detailed overview of existing SharePoint environment including data sizes, number of site collections, web parts, lists, workflows, templates and any other components that may reside on the source SharePoint environment. This information helps you check your readiness and plan a robust upgrade and migration strategy. Seamless Migration Easy to use, treebased, dragndrop graphical user interface lets you migrate SharePoint contents and permissions alongwith associated metadata with 0% content loss no matter what size the database is. It lets you migrates all list types including document libraries, issues, tasks, contacts, announcements, discussions and custom lists while preserving views, metadata, and useredit information. The subsites can be migrated alongwith users and it maintains document versioning. The site collections can also be migrated provided that the source and destination sites are based on the same site template i.e. for a SharePoint Team Site source site collection the same destination site collection template of team site must be used during site collection creation. The tool can also be used to restructure sites between MOSS 2007 and SP 2010. To preserve the new design architecture of SharePoint 2010 the sites migrated will be switched to the v4 master page of SharePoint 2010 and updates navigation URLs and links.
