Butterfly Exploration Debrief Day #1

Butterfly Garden Observation:


This area allows students observe the real life metamorphosis of a butterfly. Students should write down what they see in their observation journals. They can use magnifying glass to get a closer look. Students are not allowed to pick up the container or open the lid.

Butterfly Art:
This area allows students to find their inner creative side. They may use the materials given to create a work of art. There will be a sample that shows them one example of how to complete project. Students expected to not copy the sample but to add their own flair. Day 1 Activity: Using the Butterfly pattern and the pasta students are to create a visual representation of the life cycle.

Butterfly Research:
The purpose of this area is to allow students to be able to grab resources to be used to complete their report of butterflies. They are allowed to take the resources back to their desk if they should choose.

Conference Room:
The purpose of this area is for the teacher to be able to talk one on one with a student. If the teacher is in this area with a student and another student has a question or need helps the need to raise their hand or take a number and the teacher will be right with them.

I will be choosing which invitation to send out.

I will be choosing which flier to hang up.
