Spanish 1 Project: Family Tree

The Project:
1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Make your family tree on poster board in SPANISH! Use the family tree on the back as an example. Please use your vocabulary list as a reference. (Dont forget about your pets if you have them!) Your family may be real or fictional. You may create your own family! The project must be neat and creative. You may use actual photos (copies of the real photos would be best), magazine cutouts, drawings, or clip art. For every member of the family tree, you need to type or write a paragraph that must include the following information: The persons relationship to you e. What they like to do (Le gusta) c. Physical description Your family tree must have at least 3 generations represented and include 12 different people. You may not use online Spanish translations.

2. Paragraph Grammar

The paragraph is written in the most perfect Spanish possible for your level. It needs to look like you put forth effort.

Use a dictionary or each other for help. You need to make sure that you spell all of the used words correctly. Punctuation is different in Spanish. Make sure you have your paragraphs proofread by Ms. Young or a peer before the final draft. You can be creative in the layout of the family tree, the family you create, the explanation of each person, etc.

5. Professionalism

The family tree needs to be neat and look professional. For example, it cant be submitted if it is completed in pencil. This project needs to be completed and you need to put forth effort into the final product.
