Our client is a multi-disciplinary, Engineering firm that provides overall project management and execution services to the Australian resource development sector. It specialises in project management in mining, infrastructure and mineral process plant design and construction. They urgently require the services of an experienced and driven Project Engineer for a project based on site 2 hours south of Perth, allowing the successful candidate to be home every weekend. To be considered for this role you must have : 6-8 years Project Engineering experience in the mining/minerals processing sector Proven experience in Steelwork/Platework Shop Detailing and Fabrication Bachelors degree in Engineering Relevant memberships to Engineering groups

We have an opening for a Communication Systems Engineer to be based in San Francisco, CA with opportunity for advancement.
Assignments to include:
Development of sealed system specifications and drawings Submittal / shop drawing review Implementation Oversight Quantity take-offs and Cost estimating Development of system requirements / design criteria And other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent from an accredited United States university. Masters degree or greater desired. 4+ years of experience designing and implementing communication systems such as; Structured Cabling, Intrusion Detection, CCTV, Fiber Optic Networks, Public Address, Passenger Information and LAN/WAN systems. 2+ years transit/transportation experience preferred Proficiency with business software applications (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio etc.) Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation Strong written and verbal English skills. Samples of prior written work product required. Ability to present technical plans or speak on technical topics to project teams or other groups as required. Ability to work on problems of diverse scope and multiple technologies Ability to work independently and with cross functional teams. Detail oriented California Professional Engineer Registration preferred RCDD Certification Desired NARTE Certification (Telecommunications) Desired
Lead and mentor a team responsible for creating, maintaining and improving web-based applications, content and site management applications, feeds subsystems and processes for League Club Sites. Work closely with web development, quality assurance, project management, creative and product teams in creating and supporting new applications. Implement web application architectures and strategies across multiple application subsystems Meet aggressive performance and scalability goals to address high-volume and unique traffic patterns Work with 3rd party strategic technology partners on specialized feature integration
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Computer Science Outstanding interpersonal skills. Able to navigate and build relationships across internal groups Experience in managing an engineering team in a fast-paced online environment 5-7 years demonstrated experience building websites is required Expertise in Java, Spring, Hibernate or other frameworks, SQL, JDBC is required. Experience with Agile approaches to software development such as SCRUM Proven experience with one or more of the following: Complex, high-traffic web applications and caching strategies Content Managment Systems (e.g. Autonomy/Interwoven's TeamSite, MediaBin, OpenDeploy) Feed processing Data migration ESB solutions (e.g. Mule) Apache and Tomcat or JBoss experience required Mastery of Application Design/Architecture a must Ability to handle multiple projects at once while meeting aggressive production deadlines Ability to effectively communicate with various business stakeholders, both internal and external Familiarity with online media and sports industry a plus Excellent verbal & written skills and strong organizational skills are required.

Our practice area is a diverse group of project managers, engineers, architects, industrial planners and technologist team members, across Canada, specializing in the functional programming, planning and design of buildings and infrastructure needs for clients within the Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul and National Defence sectors. Responsibilities Our downtown Vancouver office has an immediate need for a Senior Civil Engineer. As the successful candidate, you will provide engineering expertise in the areas of design development and analysis of municipal services and site plans, liaison with clients as well as contract administration and construction reviews of buildings related projects. Working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary design team, you will be challenged in providing innovative solutions to our clients facility needs, preparing quality technical specifications, liaising locally and across Canada with clients and organizations related to the design, project approval process and construction reviews. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership, solid civil/municipal design experience and excellent interpersonal communication skills with clients and team members alike. Specific experience and qualifications in the following areas are also required:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering along with minimum 15 years experience related to the design of municipal infrastructure for private and public clients Demonstrated knowledge and experience in contract preparation, administration and project delivery Experience working with civil computer software programs including Civil 3D, and/or fire, water, sanitary and storm water computer modeling is a definite asset Well developed written communication skills in the preparation of technical reports, correspondence and design standards/guidelines are important. Must be able to effectively manage several concurrent projects Well developed consultative management skills, effective presentation skills and proven supervisory ability.
