Introduction
Industry The production side of business activity is referred as industry. It is a business activity, which is related to the raising, producing, processing or manufacturing of products. The products are consumer's goods as well as producer's goods. Consumer goods are goods, which are used finally by consumers. E.g. Food grains, textiles, cosmetics, VCR, etc. Producer's goods are the goods used by manufacturers for producing some other goods. E.g. Machinery, tools, equipments, etc. Expansion of trade and commerce depends on industrial growth. It represents the supply side of market. Types of Industries:

Primary Industry Primary industry is concerned with production of goods with the help of nature. It is a nature-oriented industry, which requires very little human effort. E.g. Agriculture, farming, forestry, fishing, horticulture, etc.

Genetic Industry Genetic industries are engaged in re-production and multiplication of certain spices of plants and animals with the object of sale. The main aim is to earn profit from such sale. E.g. plant nurseries, cattle rearing, poultry, cattle breeding, etc.

Extractive Industry

Extractive industry is concerned with extraction or drawing out goods from the soil, air or water. Generally products of extractive industries come in raw form and they are used by manufacturing and construction industries for producing finished products. E.g. mining industry, coal mineral, oil industry, iron ore, extraction of timber and rubber from forests. Manufacturing Industry Manufacturing industries are engaged in transforming raw material into finished product with the help of machines and manpower. The finished goods can be either consumer goods or producer goods. E.g. textiles, chemicals, sugar industry, paper industry.

Construction Industry Construction industries take up the work of construction of buildings, bridges, roads, dams, canals, etc. This industry is different from all other types of industry because in case of other industries goods can be produced at one place and sold at another place. But goods produced and sold by constructive industry are erected at one place.

Service Industry In modern times service sector plays an important role in the development of the nation and therefore it is named as service industry. The main industries, which fall under this category, include hotel industry, tourism industry, entertainment industry.

Metal Industry: The most important companies are Alpos Prnjavor, Metal Gradika, Jelingrad Livar Banja Luka Arcelor Mittal Prijedor, Jelingrad Prnjavor, Metalna industrija Prijedor, Bosnamontaa Prijedor and other. Metalna Industrija Prijedor. Primary production is focused on manufacture of welded steel structures and components of carbon structural steel. The company disposes with 52000m2 ground space, of which 6000m2 indoor production spaces, which is served by 5 bridge cranes with maximum loading capacity 80t. Existing production capacity allows us production of approximately 5000-6000 tones per year of welded steel constructions and construction of stainless stell. Wood Processing Industry: The greadest companies are Javor Prijedor ,Standard Prnjavor, Fagus Kotor Varos, Drvoprodex Banja Luka, Stolarija Rapic Gradika. Here is one Javor Prijedor, was founded in 1946. year 1967 and became an integral part of a IPAD, 1999 was the privatization, since it starts a permanent cycle of investment and improvement of production.Thay present a new production line of modern, high-quality solid furniture. Production make their massive kitchen, dining furniture, coffee tables, bedrooms, beds, living rooms, and a wide range of quality upholstered furniture, all as desired and the measures of buyers. The first part of the furniture sales network consists of four own salon furniture in Prijedor, Banja Luka, Sanski Most and Kozarska Dubica. Wood industry is important for economic development in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Textile, Leather and Footwear: Shoe Factory "BEMA" d.o.o. different purposes makes shoes for all ages. Since its inception the business is based on a clear concept of production and development of business cooperation with big companies from abroad. Activity is the production of high fashion and fashion footwear, in cooperation with business partners from abroad. Product range includes various types of footwear: -Men's shoes; -Women's shoes; -Children's shoes; -Sports footwear; Building Materials Industry: Civil Engineering d.o.o from Laktai is a private company, founded in 1990. year. Civil Engineering d.o.o Banja Luka has won the London International Award for Quality "crown," which is awarded in the field zadovoljtva clients, organizations, innovation and efficiency, all the model QC100TQM, international award for quality in the platinum category Geneva 2010th Scope of production is: -preparation of project documentation for civil engineering and hydro-engineering and contracting -road construction, civil engineering and infrastructure facilities -Construction of buildings (residential, commercial, etc.) -construction work in water supply -construction work in telecommunications -construction works in the health

Concluzion:

The industry has a set of human activities that are oriented production of goods and services. However, the term usually implies some sort of division of labor, as opposed to trade, where the same person can take care of the whole process: production, sales and management. Therefore, the industry usually involves a large number of people. Industry is the sector that is very important for all and one state and for BiH. Without it there can be no economy to succeed anywhere.
