A CALL TO RETURN TO GOD When We look at this land GOD has blessed Us with and the promises it holds

for all of Us, I no longer wonder why the enemy has chosen this land as a battle ground. The enemy is against everything that is of GOD because he knows that wherever GOD blesses, the land is productive and the inhabitants eat from the fruits of the landHowever, as children of GOD and as citizens of Heaven, We have forgotten where We came from and Whos children We are. How can the sons and daughters of the KING continue to struggle for Survival in the midst of plenty? How can the slave of the king continue to trouble the Princes and Princesses of the land? Something must have gone wrong. But I know GOD to be faithful and HE never gives up on HIS electHE will not come down from Heaven to do what We are supposed to do. We have wondered far away from HIS kingdom and We no longer heed HIS call like a stray dog. This brings to light the fact that We have not taken GOD for HIS wordsIsaiah51:12-23 says it all; I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass; 13 And forgettest the LORD thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and hast feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor? 14 The captive exile hasteneth that he may be loosed, and that he should not die in the pit, nor that his bread should fail. 15 But I am the LORD thy God, that divided the sea, whose waves roared: The LORD of hosts is his name. 16 And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people. 17 Awake, awake, stand up, O Jerusalem, which hast drunk at the hand of the LORD the cup of his fury; thou hast drunken the dregs of the cup of trembling, and wrung them out. 18 There is none to guide her among all the sons whom she hath brought forth; neither is there any that taketh her by the hand of all the sons that she hath brought up. 19 These two things are come unto thee; who shall be sorry for thee? desolation, and destruction, and the famine, and the sword: by whom shall I comfort thee? 20 Thy sons have fainted, they lie at the head of all the streets, as a wild bull in a net: they are full of the fury of the LORD, the rebuke of thy God. 21 Therefore hear now this, thou afflicted, and drunken, but not with wine: 22 Thus saith thy Lord the LORD, and thy God that pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it again: 23 But I will put it into the hand of them that afflict thee; which have said to thy soul, Bow down, that we may go over: and thou hast laid thy body as the ground, and as the street, to them that went over.

This passage is a wakeup call to all of Us who profess the name of the LORD14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 15 Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place. 16 For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there forever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually (II Chronicles 7:14-16). Ladies and gentlemen, as We watch and pray, lets hold unto the promises of GOD because HE never will leave Us at the mercy of the oppressor. The encouraging part of Our story as a land is the fact that the enemy is mighty, but Our GOD is mightier than the enemy because Our GOD created all things. Have you wondered how every weapon that the enemy used against Us was ineffective? Have you pondered on the fact that every little secret of the enemy is made bare every second of the day? Have you ever wondered why We are the generation chosen to face this test? GOD believes in Us more than We believe in Ourselves And I know that when We take that Bold step of seeking HIS face, We will overcome. The dimension of this crisis is both spiritual and physicalWe are doing more of the physical fight than the Spiritual. Our fight for redemption will be more effective than the physical when We develop camel knees. This is a call for Us to return to GOD, Weve lost the fire that kept this land for ages as carried by the likes of late Baba Paul Gindiri. This land was a model for every land around, but We have bought so much into secular humanism that has destroyed many lands. Our biggest failure as a people is Our ignorance of the devices of the enemy; first, the attack was on Our homes with divorces, alcoholism, sexual immorality, mediocrity, fear of the unknown, greed, tribalism, pride and white lies. We lost Our moral fibre and that was what the enemy capitalized on. The question is? Can We trace Our footsteps back to where We came from? We can start todaylets make it a culture to pray daily for Our land. I dare Us to try GOD and take HIM for HIS word and see if things dont turn around. I call on every child of GOD to pick at least a day every week to pray for Our land, I assure each one of you that We will never runaway again. I take GOD for HIS word though I am the greatest of Sinners and HE has remained Faithful. Arise, Shine, For Your Light Has Come And The Glory Of The LORD Rises Upon You. GOD Bless You All, Well Stand And Not Falter.
