Deli XL Belgium Reason of our project

Deli XL is the market leader in multi-temperature distribution in the catering trade and office in Belgium. As a Total Food Provider, Deli XL provides a complete solution for products food, maintenance and disposable. Our job is demanding in terms of quality. Food security and respect for the cold chain are ubiquitous in Deli XL. Our company wanted to strengthen its position as market leader and increase the development of its activities. To convert its choices in new strategic process models, and able to support a platform with IT application optimal and efficient, Deli XL decided to launch the Octopus project.

Deli XL Belgium What is

A team of 30 people committed to implement a new system to support current and future Deli XL Belgium needs. Business case first with parallel mapping of our future business processes basis of the RFP. Leveraging on NL and UK experience. Change management launched : project and transversal approach, a project led by the business, ERP methodology, significance of master data quality. When Business case approved, selection of the tool and the partner by the end of 2010 aiming a go-live in July 2012.

Deli XL's management has appointed a project team to evaluate and select an ERP solution that will replace the current field of applications covered by our tailor made AS400 landscape. This Octopus project includes all needs of departments: Purchase, Marketing, Commercial, Warehouse logistics Logistics Transportation Supply Finance, Quality.
