And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God. Philipppians 1:9-11 The month of October was a month of organizing, a month in which we planned out church activities for the winter. After the dedication of the new place of worship, things settled into a routine such as discipleship and serving the Church. This year it was decided that small groups would meet at the church on Wednesday evenings to do a Bible Study together, but in homes on Friday for prayer. May the Lord help us to grow in the knowledge of Him in such a way that we will have an impact on those around us. Some workers in this region took part in a conference for a few days in Sovata. The theme was Church Administration. Also in this month we rejoiced over the fruit of the earth (harvest) that God in His goodness provided us with this year. A number of people from different mission points participated in this event. Pray that those who heard the Word will turn to God and be saved. Our joy was especially great when three women from Stoenesti, where the Serban family serve, testified of their faith in the Lord Jesus through the waters of baptism. May the Lord be praised because even in these difficult times He convinces men of their sin and shows His love by receiving them into His great family. Its the first time for an event of this kind to take place in this location. Pray that people here will be open to God, freed from human traditions and sin, and that they will return to true faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. As well, lift up in your prayers these three women that they will be able to be victorious in the face of tests and trials that will come their way.

The Stoica family started a study group with youth from Daneasa. They meet every Thursday to study from the Word of God. Pray that these youth will recognize their need for God and take seriously the words of Scripture. Andrea Stoica is teaching a group of teens the German language. In Comani the walls for a place of worship have started to go up! We give thanks to the Lord that it has reached this stage. Continue to pray for physical and financial resources, that this building will be raised, and that many people will come and hear the Word preached. In Coteana God is working more and more in the hearts of people. On Saturdays the Opris family studies from the Word of God with families who were baptized this year. However, God has also brought along others who have expressed a desire to be involved in the church meetings in Draganesti. One reason for their desire is because of the lives of Sorin and Corina Pintea who have been a good testimony. Praise the Lord! Brother Gigi from Coteana gladly brings people with his car. Brother George Serban together with the Opris family and a brother from America participated in evangelism in three locations in the district of Buzau. They had opportunity to meet with youth on the street and talk with them about God.
