The Illinois Pork Producers Association (IPPA) is an agricultural trade association representing more than 2,900 pork producers throughout Illinois. IPPA is comprised of county pork producer organizations in more than 20 counties throughout Illinois. IPPA is an afliate of the National Pork Producers Council and the National Pork Board. IPPA provides producers with services that enhance protability and preference for pork. IPPAs mission is to provide producers with services that enhance protability and consumer preference for pork. IPPA provides services and programs through checkoff and noncheckoff programs. The pork checkoff funds activities such as: pork promotion, education to consumers, teachers, and producers, youth programs, and research on pork related issues. Noncheckoff programs are funded by membership dues and proceeds from the Pork Patio at the Illinois State Fair and from the IL Pork Expo, held at the Peoria Civic Center during the end of January each year. Non-checkoff programs focus on state and national legislative issues. IPPA works to represent pork producers best interest on issues of importance to pork producers and the pork industry.

The Nueske family came to Wittenberg, Wisconsin in 1882, bringing with them the European skills of Applewood smoking and dozens of recipes for spicing and curing meat. When prohibition outlawed the manufacture and sale of alcoholic beverages in 1920, many enterprising residents of tiny Templeton, Iowa, population 350, came together to create an American classic known as Templeton Rye Whiskey, or The Good Stuff to those in the know. Over the course of its storied history, Templeton Rye became Al Capones whiskey of choice, quickly nding its way to the center of his bootlegging empire. Speakeasies in Chicago, New York and as far west as San Francisco poured Templeton Rye as the Best Whiskey in the House. Available legally for the rst time, the infamous small batch rye whiskey returns. Aged in charred new oak barrels and produced from the original Prohibition Era recipe, Templeton Rye provides a smooth nish and a clean getaway. Bar Deville, French for bar of the city, is a one-of-a-kind experience in a laid-back atmosphere.
