The Tikvah Center for Law & Jewish Civilization at NYU is accepting applications for the 201213 Tikvah

Fellows Program (see http://www.nyutikvah.org) THE TIKVAH CENTER FOR LAW & JEWISH CIVILIZATION AT NEW YORK UNIVERSITY: The Tikvah Fellows Program
The Tikvah Center for Law & Jewish Civilization at NYU School of Law is now accepting applications for the Tikvah Fellowship Program for the academic year 20122013. The Program is directed at leading scholars and educators who engage in legal, moral, normative, and existential issues pertaining to Law & Jewish Civilization. Non-academics such as school principals and rashei yeshivot are also welcome to apply. Two categories of Fellowships are available: At-Large and Thematic. The Annual Theme for 20122013 will be Reconsidering the Private and Public Spheres in Law & Jewish Civilization. While in residence at the Center, Fellows work on their individual projects consistent with the Centers Mission Statement and, where applicable, with the Annual Theme. Fellows attend Workshops to discuss their works-in-progress with the Centers academic community, and are invited to participate in the various intellectual and social activities of the Center. The Fellowship carries a stipend of US$65,000 and an additional housing subsidy of US$10,000 for non-New York residents. THE TIKVAH CENTER FOR LAW & JEWISH CIVILIZATION AT NEW YORK UNIVERSITY: The Tikvah Scholar-in-Residence Program
The Tikvah Center for Law & Jewish Civilization at NYU is now accepting applications for the Postdoctoral and Visiting Doctoral Tikvah Scholar-in-Residence Program for academic year 20122013. The Center also accepts applications from recent J.D. Graduates. The Program aims to attract outstanding graduates and young scholars interested in spending a year researching, writing, and learning in the company of some of the best scholars in the field of Law & Jewish Civilization. The Tikvah Scholars group also includes doctoral and postdoctoral students from NYU School of Law, the NYU Skirball Department of Hebrew and Judaic Studies, and the NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. The Scholars receive a stipend, ranging from US$7,500 to US$40,000 for the academic year. Applications must be commensurate with the Centers mission statement.
