Introduction
Pizza delivery is a service in which a pizzeria delivers a pizza to a customer, usually ordered by telephone or a web site. Delivery is normally made with an automobile, motor scooter, or bicycle. In this process the customer is given highest priority. We are providing home delivery to our customers, giving them convenience to place the order from home and get the quick service at their door step. Ordering pizza for delivery usually involves contacting a local pizza restaurant or chain by telephone or online. Online ordering has gained popularity in countries with high Internet usage such as the United States and Canada, where most pizza chains now offer online menus and instant ordering.
Placing Order
On the basis of order details, the system should be able to check whether all the required raw materials (stock) are available in the inventory section or not. If available, then confirm the order placed.
Constraints:
y y y y Order cost must be more than Rs.250. Delivery radius must be within a range of 10 km. If number of pizzas exceed more than 100, then the delivery time will be 2 hours from the time of order placed. System should be able to find out the fraudulent by matching with the black-listed customers.
Recommended System Requirements: y y y Windows XP Professional 32bit or Windows Vista Business 32bit Intel Core 2 Duo / 2.93 GHz Processor (or equivalent) 2GB of RAM
Performance requirements: System should be able to respond quickly to the requests. Availability: The software should be available 24 * 7. Security requirements: System users accessibility according to rights is always ensured. System users are advised to change their passwords after every 45 days The customer, vendor and inventory details should be kept confidential. Back Up: The back up of all data should be taken periodically.
User documentation: y y y y y User documentation should describes each feature of the program and should assist the user in realizing these features. User document should provide thorough troubleshooting assistance. User documents should not be confusing, and should be up to date. User document should be consistency and simple. User document should have tutorial so that it will be useful for a new user.
