P&ID System Assemblies AutoPLANT P&ID V8i and V8i (SELECTseries 1) stored P&ID System Assemblies under the folder C:\Program Files\Bentley\Plant V8i\P&ID\sym\assy. Due to write permission limitations applicable to Windows Vista Standard User accounts, this folder has been moved for AutoPLANT P&ID V8i (SELECTseries 2) to this location C:\ProgramData\Bentley\Plant V8i\P&ID\sym\assy. Upgrading ProjectWise 8.11.5 to 8.11.7 To upgrade ProjectWise 8.11.5 to 8.11.7 it is recommended that all the ProjectWise folders are deleted following the uninstall. This however removes the SchemaFiles.zip file (located in the ProjectWise install root, under the Bin folder) that AutoPLANT installs. To fix this once ProjectWise 8.11.7 has been installed carry out one of the following steps: Backup SchemaFiles.zip prior to the ProjectWise upgrade Copy SchemaFiles.zip from another machine Run an AutoPLANT installation repair

First Time Application Launch May Halt for Standard User Accounts when AutoCAD 2011 is present

An intermittent problem has been observed the first time a user with Standard access rights launches P&ID and AutoCAD 2011 is present. The application launch may halt and not progress any further. This problem has sometimes been observed when P&ID has been installed and activated by a user with Administrator access rights and AutoCAD 2011 is present. Then the application is launched by a Standard user. To remedy the problem the Standard user must close the application trying to start and run the Bentley License Management Tool. The application in question will be reported as running in Evaluation Mode, when in fact it is fully activated. Simply Go to "Tools" and click "Send Logs Now". The application will now be shown activated and can be launched. This is a one-time action.
