What's New in this Release

1. Supports real-time traffic trend display for the traffic analysis task. 2. The passwords of user accounts unba_slave and unba_data must be the same. 3. Imports protocol definitions in batches. This feature is configurable under Service > Traffic Analysis and Audit > Application Management > Import Protocol. 4. Supports database views of total traffic data and application traffic data based on interface traffic analysis tasks and device interfaces. [ Table of Contents ]

Problems Fixed in this Release

IMC NTA 5.0 SP1 (E0101P02) fixes the following problems in IMC NTA 5.0 (E0101): 1. The reset button did not work on the protocol query page. 2. The Y-coordinate value did not appear if all the traffic data was the same on the traffic trend chart. [ Table of Contents ]

Port Usage
The NTA Server will BIND to and use the following TCP/IP Ports. Port TCP 8051 TCP 9099 Usage Used to receive SHUTDOWN command for the unbaserver process. The JMX monitoring port used by the unbaserver process.

Typical Installation
Before installing NTA, make sure the IMC is installed correctly. To install NTA, click Install on the Monitor tab of the Intelligent Deployment Monitoring Agent, then select the components sub-directory of the upgrade package, and click OK to launch the installation wizard. Upgrade Installation
The upgrade package applies to versions of IMC NTA 5.0 (E0101) or IMC NTA 5.0 (E0101L01). Follow these instructions to upgrade the IMC: Back up the IMC database on the Environment tab in Deployment Monitoring Agent. Stop the IMC system in the Deployment Monitoring Agent. Click Install on the Monitor tab of the Deployment Monitoring Agent. Select the install/components subdirectory of the upgrade package, and click OK. After the installation is complete, the Intelligent Deployment Monitoring Agent lists the components that need to be upgraded. Click OK to start upgrading the components. 6. If this is a distributed deployment, upgrade the components deployed on the slave servers separately. 7. After the update is complete, start all processes in the Intelligent Deployment Monitoring Agent window. For more information about upgrade instructions, see the IMC Installation Guide . Un-Installation
You can remove the NTA component through the intelligent deployment monitoring agent. To do this, follow these steps: 1. In the Intelligent Deployment Monitoring Agent window, click Stop IMC on the Monitor tab to stop all processes of IMC. 2. On the Deploy tab, right-click the NTA component, and select Uninstall the Component from the shortcut menu. 3. When an un-installation success dialog box appears, click OK.
