Magus 5 Tenants and 7 Tenants of the Grander Mystery Side note: The instruction of magus, is the inner schooling

of the mage and magi as one, underlining the hidden occult and ceremonial references to each design. The magus is the combination of the mage and magi as a higher understanding of the works towards the house. But one will not understand this until they pass through these documents or designs. The magus is referenced as the occult master of ceremonial practices, however, this is only knowledge of the process. The magus themselves are what we would refer to as pure magicians. One will deny the term magician as illusionary and deceptive, but this was the counter schooling of the occult magiestery since their first conception. There is nothing wrong with the word magician as long as it stands on the metaphysical and not the impractical form of illusionistic or illuministic. The magus isnt held up by the restraint of words in any culture, manner, terminology, psychology, philosophy, etc. of the written word. The only one that the magus denies is the culmination of the biblical or religious word, because this word can be judgmental. Not to say that the magus do not judge in their own right, they just do not judge superficially. 1. Reason: Referred to as reasoning. A magus does not denote themselves higher than the material they study, for they are in service to the word of that study, and do not seek to exploit their own sub-reference. Their grand pursuit is to unify the word as its original intent, no matter the culture, bias, credence, or assimilation of another by-product of that word. To do such is to lose sight of the pattern, an initial energy source for the capacity of that word. Words do not really mean a thing to the magus without the intent to use them for the

higher reasoning. A lesser understanding of the reasoning is not worthy to be quantified as an example. The word other is an example of outsider awareness, different than ones own. However, this does not reason with the magus. Other, would denote that which is outside is trying to get in, and thus there must be a way for it to get in. So the reason is finding it. That would be the purpose. Not to separate, but to validate. 2. Purpose: Not everything has a purpose, and just like the dark arts, one must prove themselves. It is a race between those who know and those who do not know, to substantiate the mechanics of the universe. A magus is often viewed as a god-head, a pursuit to one trying to be their very own force or entity. There is no purpose in that, the true purpose is to evolve the obvious and deevolve the lostconfuse them with reality. It may seem devious or wicked, but you are really protecting them from themselves. The goal is to bring higher awareness, and not ego illumination. Through ceremonial practices, ones final destination (purpose) is made, more clear. There is nothing that locks you into ownership but your own will and service to the House of the Magi. For it is a house of magus nature that really rules this home. Magi is used to simplify the religious structure (spiritual faith) necessary for one to feel welcomed before magushood removes them. As I said, it is a test of the desire to belong. To allow one in, is to remain open to all possibilities. But to test their reality is to find purpose in truth. This is the reason why magus are the last of the challenges one must meet and become before entering into magiestery. Magiestery is the doorway between the future outlook of sorcery

or wizardry. Both are correct in their ways, but only one has a divine purpose, the other one is self created. Though we may study both designs, only one fulfills the reward or the road to the Dryl. 3. Sorcery: Sorcery is a non-excepted word in the practice of magus nature; however, it is accepted as a science, a sub-division of its own creativity. Sorcery is the validation of the material of justice of beingwhat one wants, what one desires. One should not fall prey to these things, they should instead find validation for their use. Its not to say you cannot get what you want, its to say you should not want what can ultimately change you into something you are not. That is the true test of self. The ultimate goal is to find out who and what you are in accordance with the design and symbols that gravitate towards service to you. One should not seek to be malicious in activity against ones pursuit of wisdom or justice. We are teachers. As a magus, sorcery is your friend, and allows you to find weaknesses in others. Once again, it is malicious by those who do not control their own desires, and the universe only judges end-results. What you are now, and what you are to become hold no sway over the ultimate awareness of the universe. It wants the end-result, not the beginning and the middle, unless you get in its way. And you will know when you are getting in its way, because it will start to get in yours. Between sorcery and wizardry, is a chest game. Both are equal, for they are played on an even field, however wizardry, through the will of the magus, has no desires, so can win and lose at will. While sorcery, or sorcerers, seek only to win. The nature of the magus understanding of

sorcery, is its tools. With these tools, a magus can become like a god over night. The test is, Will it serve you, or get you kicked out? Just like purpose, one must learn to control theirs. It sounds ill-fated, as if its a loselose situation. But like the old saying goes, you have to lose to win the wisdom behind winning. Winning isnt the better strategy, it is just the will to take a chance. Its this will that will determine wizardry, magiestery, sorcery, or none of the above. As you cultivate your learning, there is not right or wrong about how you use it, there is only us and them. Us want for them. Them need to want for us. Its a simple proposition of give and take, so each get what they want, or are denied it completely. You can be generous without any restrictions on anything, but would that make you, wise or foolish? The goal is to share, whither we like it or not, but how is up to us, and when is up to them. One is a student, even at the level of a mastery, but you can still set the table too. 4. Worth: Our value is set up by our service. From the magi to the mage to the magus, we are judged on our deeds, our connections, our associations, and the things that support the House. It is the House that we want to support, look good in respect to, and service of. It is not just a house, it is the very tools towards wizardry. When one begins their journey from the neophyte to the adept, they have no knowledge of this place. They have merely visions. These visions are not guided by a teacher, only those who seek to make a profit, and that is where it ends. Religiously, all living things seek a higher parentage, a way to exist with meaning more. Magic(k) is no different.

However, this is merely the growing up stage that helps us define our purpose in service. Given another time, we would be rulers of the world, priest of unknown naming, walking around like endless druids, but on a higher scale. The grander answers are like sand poured into the palms of those that await. The idea is not to let one grain fall, put instead to shift or sift through the sands, so as to gather the ones that best connect to us. In order to do that, one must encounter other sands, and identify with it, or reject it. Rejecting something is not finding validation of it, it just is not of you, as you are of you now. You maybe that later, or it may grow to become you. The idea is not to guess. It is for an answer, service is complete, there is no room for debate, no room for ego, or miss understood examples, for just like the acolyte, the magus serves their oath, if not the very oath of the acolyte. They represent the guardian image of the very pole of the gateway of the magus. It is here that the magus is master of the gate, with responsibilities and duties to it. Under the watchful eye of the House and its own. The magus is the teachers aid of the magiester or magiestery. Such fine names, such fine designs one believes as a critique that we set ourselves ahead of everyone else. This isnt so. But we want them to think it is, so that they start to debate and we can start their lesson. As I said we are teachers, teachers of the mysteries, but we dont teach openly, we teach in cause to. We honor the older schools, the schools of the sand. The schools of the memories. The schools of the temples. We are like the sphinx, and big ben, the leaning tower of pizza, the Eiffel Tower, Death Valley, and the Grand Canyon at the moment of their creation. These

are objects that are merely there to be looked at, not respected, just observing. But yet, the world revolves around us. The magus is but a template to the model that is wizard. If that is your ultimate goal. But you will find out one way or another. 5. Connection: What does a magus seek? It is in the hands of the magi, the adept, the mage, and the magiester to be. For they are all a part of the maguss journey, and if youre lucky the acolyte as well. For the connection is life. The model from which it exists, the rituals that give it power, and the promises of the spirit that connect to it. Like the nature of amber, it is the remains of the dead over years, more years than most can count. It is a sign of ones birthright. When we make a connection, we are making a solid energy charged network possible, and it is this network that grows and grows and grows as it reaches out for meaning. This is the parallel, mirror like side, of our higher being. The lesser metaphysical junior self tends to fear to tread here. This does not separate us from the physical world, but instead indults us with the universal world that the explorers started getting into through their own curiosity. It would be nice to be connected to a chain of a chain of a chain of great warriors, philosophers, scientists, but this would be empty without our own trophies. We are explorers of an education, a road, a sophisticated symbolic design that all these earlier chained members past through, collected what they wanted, and left. Few stayed to finish, and it is these few that we can say the word connected to. It is easy to take what you want, when it is visible to be wanted, but it is hard to belong to something that

spans time, and space, and thought, and action. It is here that the backyard of wizardry exists. It may seem lonely, but its not. It may seem hard to reach, but its not. It may seem impossible to know, impossible to do, but its not. The only reach that one cannot have, is the one that does not justify their worth in having it. Its ridiculous, and often confusing, that some do not see the signs right in front of them. But remember, they are not looking. They do not have guidance. They reach because its there. Never knowing why. This does not make us better than them. This just makes us more worthy of the dragons way, of saying what they might refuse to see for themselves, or even ourselves. Because we know what we know, we can never assume to be superior to it. When one does this, the connection is lost. It is not that we cannot go in alone, we are always alone. But we are never lonely in being alone because of it. As a magus, just as a priest, you are your own keeper. This is and will be the only limitations on ones humanity. When you accept the role behind the curtain (similar to the Wizard of Ozs Dorthy) you accept being just another face in the crowd, another voice among the wind, another piece of an endless puzzle, with all the answers to everything you hear, everything you see, everything you dont see. And you must remain quiet, or in the capacity of humor, entertaining. So that they figure it out on their own, but will they?
