BACHELOR PROJECT
FLEXIBLE PAVEMENT DESIGN USING FINITE ELEMENT METHOD

In my bachelor project Flexible Pavement Design using Finite Element Method we designed the pavement of Northern Bypass, Karachi using Finite Element Method (FEM) based software. We have designed the pavement by three methods AASHTO, Mechanistic, and Finite Element Method and did comparison between the results obtained. Successfully designed the pavement.
In the first part we use AASHTOware DARwin for calculating layer

thicknesses (AASHTO Method). In the second part we use KANLAYER for calculating the design life and stresses (Mechanistic Method).

INTERNSHIP
NLC-NATIONAL LOGISTICS CELL (ENGINEERS) Worked as Internee from 7th June 2010 to 17th July 2010.

Worked on two projects of NLC namely Infrastructure Development works at DHA Phase VIII Karachi and Infrastructure Development works at Textile City (Port Qasim).

cost estimations, form work,reinforcement,pouring of mortar,plaster and paint were done(Final Year).
