Accomplishments Comcast Cable * Negotiated a fiber optic lease agreement with the Colorado DOT, saving millions of dollars over 20 years with the fiber connectivity in place to allow for advanced services (e.g., Video On Demand) for 10 additional mountain communities. * Renewed more than 15 cable franchises, enabling the company to continue to do business in the municipalities. * Developed and produced "Comcast Newsmakers," a five-minute interview segment on CNN Headline News, a national program launched in 2006 with predominantly positive reactions and increased visibility for local non-profit organizations, elected officials, and the company. * Altered public opinion regarding the company within key areas by sustaining a stable presence in the area and cultivating solid relationships with elected officials. * Developed relationships with government officials within a vast territory of 47 municipalities throughout the state.
