Online course walk through

Welcome to your online course! In the next 2 weeks, you will be in a class where your learning modules and class interactions are fully online

No need to worry! You will be guided by our online facilitators, They will guide you and make sure that this will be a good learning experience for you.

Before you start, well give you a walkthrough of the online platform which you will be using, login.elearningedge.net. At the end of this walkthrough, you should be able to navigate your online lesson easily.

Lets Begin!

There are 7 things you need to do:

First, you should login in using your user ID and password. Login at: http://login.elearningedge.net If you encounter any problems, contact your facilitator or email support@elearningedge.net or call 9270096 and look for Lourdes.

You will also be able to see your notifications and deadlines at this side of the page

How to change your profile information and photo

1) Your main homepage will show your profile updates and reminders. Click on YOUR NAME to get to your profile information. Doing this will allow your classmates to learn more about you.

2) Click on the box, Change Picture and upload your picture from the computer. Add a description about yourself.

3) To edit your description, click on the box, Edit your description.

Login and access your class

1) To get to your lessons, click on the name of your course in the left panel. For example, Mobile Marketing on the Go!

2) Welcome to the main page of your course! To start exploring the lessons, click on the lessons tab.

3) At this point, youll be able to see the list of your modules. Click on Module 1 to begin!

How to access your mail inbox

1) Click on the envelope icon on the left part of the page

2) Messages and alerts about your course will be sent to your mail inbox. It will also be sent to your email.

Use the Forum Tool

1) To start exploring the forum tool, click on collaboration, then click forums.

2) Pick your forum title.

3) Click on the box Post to begin posting your forum answer.

4) At this point, you can already start writing your forum reply.

5) You can format your answer, insert images, upload files or insert links.

6) Make sure to click the Send button at the bottom of the page once youre done.

The Forums page is also a good venue to ask questions and participate in open discussions about the topics in class.

Assessment Section

To see your graded requirements, click on the assessment section. This will show you the list of required activities which will account for your final grade, like quizzes and required forums.

At this point, you can already start writing your forum reply (For forum assignments).

Make sure to click the submit button at the bottom of the page once youre done.

News Feed

In the news feed, you can view announcements and alerts about your class. You can also post status messages or ask questions to your teachers, click on post to try it out!

Calendar

To view the calendar, click on the calendar tab. It will show you the schedule of events, deadlines for assignments and other activities.

What to do if youre having log-in problems

Click the Home Icon

Type your User id and Password and click Log in

Click Lessons At the Lessons page, read the first Lessons and then answer the Pre-Course Survey, this gives you access to the next Lessons.

Now explore the rest of the Lessons and accomplish all Requirements (Assignments, Group Works, etc.)
