JANUARY - FEBRUARY, 2012

DR. RANDY SMITH, LEAD PASTOR

FAITH COMMUNITY CHURCH

The Kingdom Is Coming... Life is short and none of us want to waste it playing at something that isnt real. Jesus said that He would build His church and that the gates of hell would not prevail against it. To the degree that we cooperate with Gods agenda, FCC can be one of His Kingdom-minded local churches. He has been showing Himself strong in several lives over the past year and we give Him the credit. As we look ahead to another year, I wonder both where you are now and where you may be in 12 months. Will you look back on 2012 as one of the best years for loving, knowing, and serving God that you have ever had? Or will you fritter away the days and be just as frustrated 1 year from now? The choices you make today will determine the course of your life. I have been reminded of my small, but important, part in seeing a bit of Jesus Kingdom come through the ways He wants to use me. I have determined

once again to move in response to His voice, to risk foolishness for the sake of the Call.

Service Time FCC will continue with one Sunday morning service @ 10:30AM at this time. We will return to 2 when our average attendance is consistently higher.

COFFEE - It seems like such a small thing, but many people appreciate having coffee. Want to help make it happen?

WORSHIP TEAM - Twice a week the various members gather to practice helping lead us into Gods presence.

FOOD - Some of the best ministry takes place over food. A diverse group gathered at Ryans for fun and friendship.

Missions Exposure Over the past 16 years, Pastor Randy has been involved with several mission exposure teams, both from the mission field and from the sending base. He has seen the benefit to those who participate, the way it changes their view of God and His work in the world. This May Pastor Randy is taking a small group of FCC college students to the country of Nicaragua to see first hand some of the realities of mission work in a needy country. Partnering with

local missionaries, the students will be challenged to consider how God might use them to either serve somewhere as missionaries or to be active mission supporters from the USA. Since these are poor college students (all of whom actively participate at FCC), the FCC board is encouraging anyone who may like to help sponsor the trip financially, to designate their donation to Nicaragua Mission, in a check made out to Faith Community Church.
