As Field Engineer I am responsi ble for all project layout and dimensional accuracy, interpretation of plans and specifications, communicating and establishing control lines for crafts and sub contractors, job-wide safety, producing detailed concrete form drawings for fiel d use, and tracking and reporting daily job production, updating 4 week schedule , sound testing and SCIF accreditation, and quality control (TIGER team). Internship with Hensel Phelps Construction Co. (May 6, 2008 Aug 21, 2008) (Baltimore Hilton Convention Center Hotel Project in Baltimore, MD) During my internship with HPCC on the Baltimore Convention Center Hotel Project , I worked directly for the Project Superintendent and Field Engineer for the fi rst half of the summer. During this time I was responsible for all project layou t and dimensional accuracy, interpretation of plans and specifications, communic ating and establishing control lines for crafts and subcontractors, job-wide saf ety, producing detailed concrete form drawings for field use, and tracking and r eporting daily job production. During the second half of the summer I worked directly for the office engineer a nd Project Engineer on the Baltimore Hilton Convention Center Hotel Project. My responsibility included all procurement and timely delivery of materials to the project, reviewing shop drawings, processing material submittals and requests fo r information; and assisting the Project Internship with Burney & Burney Construction Co. (May 2006 December 2008 minus the HPCC internship) (Estimator and assistance to Project Superintendent on North Campus Crossing Pro ject in Greenville, NC) During my internship I worked as office assistance between May 2006 May 2007. My responsibility included delivery of material to projects, reviewing drawing f or the bidding process, assisting with request for proposal for CM @ risk projec ts, drafting mock-ups for clients using Auto CAD, and reviewing shop drawing. For the remainder of the internship I worked in the field directly with the proj ect superintendent. My responsibility included communicating with subcontractors , interpretation of plans and specifications, maintain the quality control proce ss, and closing out punch list. Internship with Farrior & Sons Construction Co. (August 2005- May 2006) During my internship I helped supervise construction site, maintained and opera te construction machinery, interpretation of plans and specifications, and maint ain the quality control process.
