The Department of Treasuryas TCS Project, responsibilities included the following: * Assisted TCS Deputy Program Manager in the execution of all activities relevant to the completion of the transition of circuits from FTS2000 to FTS2001: thru MS Project. * Supported the TCS Transition Manager as a project team lead in the transitioning of over 11,000 active data circuits on the TCS network from AT maintained MS Project. * Resolved discrepancies for the user community and other government personnel by researching the circuit database, existing files for the site, and any other documentation to determine ownership and any subsequent credits due to the customer. * Project team lead in support of the ATM/frame rollouts for IRS (over 4,000 locations), U.S. Customs (1,000 locations), and the TIMIS X.25 to IP solution for the entire Treasury Department Payroll System; responsible for MS Project. * Assigned to the Deputy Program Manager for tracking and locating of billing invoice problems and funding issues within the annual $150M plus TCS program. * Budget Analyst to the TCS Y2K Project Manager for three years, ensuring the proper drawdown was maintained on $100M multi-year delivery orders using MS Project. * Bureau Information Coordinator (call center) for all matters related to ATF, BEP, FinCEN, Mint, TTB and USSS to include attendance at meetings with the agency PMOas, completion of invoices, evaluation of cost overruns, discrepancy resolution, and circuit cost to the Bureaus. * Provided IV&V of outstanding billing and invoicing discrepancies/claims for each of the Treasury 14 bureaus to collect data utilized quarterly as part of the performance based contracting activity and also to determine the bi-annual award fee for the prime contractor. * Accessed the Oracle database to retrieve circuit data and match the information with data from the GSA Morris system to validate the payment information received from the circuit providers (MCI, Sprint, Verizon, and AT&T) on a monthly basis. * Attended monthly scheduled meetings with the various carriers to discuss contract issues, circuit provisioning, installations and

billing issues. Also supported the Treasury DTS (Digital Telecommunications Service) which is a wireless program on their billing disputes for over two years. * Tracked new circuits added to the network from implementation to installation, monitored existing circuits deleted from the invoice following circuit cancellation. * Provided bi-weekly briefings of new work opportunities as well as upcoming scheduled maintenance required on the network. * Supported the TCS Director and the Treasury Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in creating the Treasury Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Step 2 and Security Continuous Monitoring documentation. * Team Lead to the Project Manager on several Special Projects including the IRS Communications Utility Program, the U.S. Customs Service and the other (12) bureaus in the frame relay upgrade of the network using MS Project as a means for tracking schedules and costs, via MS Project.
