Worked directly with new supplier on the development, APQP and PPAP qualifica tion processes to release and implement new lower cost fuel pumps. Worked cross-functionally to ensure successful interaction of the air/fuel controlcomponent with the elect ronic governing system. Provided support for the emissions testing and complian ce activities. Supervised all engine/genset performance and emissions testing. Key contributor to the design and development of a new floorcare buffer engine with closed loop electronic propane injection and catalytic converter producing ultra low CO emissions for safe indoor operations. Senior Engineer Mechancial Engineer (2/98 to 8/02): Key contributor to the design, development and exhaust emissions certification o f three fuel systems including gasoline carburetted, electronic fuel injection, propane liquid withdrawal and vapor withdrawal fuel systems. Worked directly wi th existing supplier on the design and development of the performance requiremen ts for the high pressure in-line fuel pump applied to the EFI engine management system. Led 6-Sigma DMAIC team to improve the Production Line Emissions Audit t esting processes to reduce cost associated with turn around time of the audit en gine.
