Coat Trim Hemline With coat right side out, join white yarn with sl st to coat hem. Ch 1, sc along the hemline of the coat. (Note: No further stitches are worked on the hemline) Coats flaps and Neckline Rnd 1 : Hdc evenly along edge of coat flap, across neck and down other coat flap. Finishing Sew the two front pieces to the back piece under both arms and at both shoulders. Join sleeve to coat first along the ends of rows only along the front and back leaving underarm area free. Next, stitch half of foundation ch row to one half of underarm then half of Row 23 to other half of underarm. Sew under side of sleeve closed.
