Class Descriptions
5K Training - Are you a long distance runner? Come to Boomer Dock three times a week to improve your race endurance! Abs - This quick 20-minute class will give you an intense, isolated focus on your abdomen, and get you to that 6-pack you've always dreamed of! Aqua Zumba - Join us in the pool for a total body workout with cardio conditioning in a Latin flavor. It's so much fun that you don't even realize that you are working out! Fusing hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic workout system that will blow you away. Bootcamp - Be prepared for a variety of activities designed to push you to your personal limit in fitness. Cardio and strength training help you reach your peak fitness with extra motivation from your instructor. Drills, intervals or endurance... which will it be today? Butts N Guts - Exercise for abs and gluteus maximus are the primary exercises, in addition to strength training for the muscle groups comprising the core, booty and all the areas in between. Bunz N Gunz - Tone and tighten your bunz and gunz with a little weight training and toning. Cardio Kickboxing - Want to take your kickboxing to the next level? This is the class for you! This class combines cardio intervals with on the bag training. Cardio Pump - This class gives you a total body workout using heart-pumping cardio moves and intense strength training to do the most work for the body in the least amount of time. Shred and strengthen at once in this fun-packed class! Cycle Circuit - This class is guaranteed to keep your heart rate up with spin and plyometrics all incorporated into one intense workout. Functional Strength Training - A great class for anyone looking for a variety of movements that will build overall body strength and additional training benefits that more directly transfer improvements to real-life activities! Interval Swim - Looking to improve your endurance, train for a race, or improve your strokes? Interval Swim was designed for you! HIT - High Intensity Interval Training is also known as 2:1 sprint training. This class is designed to push to your limits with intense short bouts of exercise. Including cardio and weights with short recovery time. Kickboxing - Stressed out? Try a great workout that uses fun music, increases strength & flexibility, and uses the bags! Kick and punch stress away with this high-energy workout that uses martial arts basics to work up a sweat. No experience required, just come several minutes early to wrap your hands.

Party Fitness - Hip Hop, Pop, Country and Swing are some of the music genres you can expect. The focus is American party music from the present and past. You don't have to know how to dance, just how to smile....and SWEAT. This truly is an EXERCISE IN DISGUISE! Pilates - Joseph Pilates used various techniques to strengthen the core muscles of the body. In practicing these movements, you can learn body awareness, good posture, and easy movement. It also increases flexibility and agility. Pump and Tone - Strengthen and tone the entire body head to toe, including the core, utilizing a variety of equipment. This class uses no choreography, just resistance tools to sculpt and balance your body. Speedy Spin - Try this thirty minute spin class that will be sure to keep your heart rate up to burn more calories and make you sweat! Spin - A great low-impact workout! Your instructor will guide you over a variety of terrain with several modes of training styles: Strength, Endurance & Interval training. You can adjust your intensity making this class great for beginners AND advanced cyclists! Space is limited, so pick up your spin number 30 min. prior to class from the customer service desk to reserve your space! Swimming Lessons - A swimming class with the novice swimmer in mind where you can come learn anything you need to know about swimming! TRX - Join us for TRX- Suspension Training! You can safely perform exercises that build strength, balance, flexibility, power, mobility, and prevent injuries all at the intensity you choose. The first 3 weeks, meet in Gym 4 N. Water Aerobics - This aerobics class incorporates a variety of exercises ranging from running to Jumping jacks in the deep water. Belts are provided for floatation. Toning and calisthenics both with and without water weight are conducted to increase muscle tone and strength. Yoga - This class works to develop the physical body with strength, stamina and flexibility; the emotional body with stability, confidence and discernment; the mental body with awareness, concentration and focus. The result is physical, emotional, and mental tranquility, enabling one to completely relax while feeling strong, confident and aware. Focus on waking up from the inside out. Zumba - A total body workout with cardio conditioning in a Latin flavor. So fun, you won't realize you are working out! Hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves create a dynamic workout system that will blow you away. Zumba Toning - Provides a new avenue to weighted activity for participants. Created to emphasize muscle work along with rhythms, this combination of cardio and dynamic resistive exercises is an effective use of progressive light weight training to improve overall performance. The same party atmosphere with an effective, re-defining total body workout.
