Kympasas AKA: Verminkin, Millifolk, Centi Small Monstrous Humanoid (Verminoid) -4 STR, +2 DEX, +2 WIS Small. Kyampasas gain a +1 size bonus to AC and attack rolls and a +4 size bonus to Hide checks, but they must use smaller weapons than humans use, and their lifting and carrying limits are three-quarters of those of Medium-size creatures. (Use halflingmale height and weight.) Base land speed 30 ft Darkvision 60ft +1 Natural Armor Bite: Kympasas have a primary natural bite attack which deals d4 damage (+ STR modifier) and poison. A kympasa wielding a weapon uses his bite as a secondary attack. Poison: Bite, Fortitude DC 10+ Kympasas CON modifier. Initial and secondary damage is 1d2 dex Verminoid: Kympasas are treated as Vermin and Monstrous humanoids for purposes of Ranger favored enemies, magic items and the like. Multiple Legs: While a Kympasas legs are not suited for climbing or lifting things, they help them stabilize and move faster (hence their speed). They also grant Stability (like a Dwarf) and a +4 racial bonus on Balance checks. Skills: Kympasas have a +4 racial bonus on Climb, Spot and Hide checks Automatic Languages: Sylvan. Bonus Languages: Common, Elven, Gnome, Goblin Favored Class: Urban Druid (From Dragon Compendium) Kyampasas are small, brownish, centipede like humanoids with four arms (they use the combined strength from each arm as one), antennae, and bulbous, compound eyes. Their flat, segmented bodies are supported at the lower halfby a dozen or more tiny legs. All kyampasas have large mandibles, under which lies a very complex mouth. Young kyampasas are born from eggs, tiny and very able. There is no physical difference between Males and Females, although Kympasas can tell the difference by smell. Kympasas are alien in mindset to mammalian and reptilian humans, although Thri-Kreen can identify with them. They are usually friendly to strangers, and often ask for nothing in return for services rendered. Kympasas sometimes seem oddly clingy; standing a little to close to people, speaking as close to someones ears (they see them as Sphericals, an arthropods equivalent to a nose) or touching things rather left undisturbed. Kympasas are animistic and worship no particular god, instead, they venerate spirits of nature and ancestors. Kympasas usually live in cities and other urban regions, where they live amongst humans and try to integrate in their culture as best they can. Kympasas are slow to anger, probably because they simply do not understand insults or affronts. However, they detest being called Vermin, and calling a Kympasas a vermin is a quick way to find poison in ones drink. Kympasas speak Sylvan in clicks and hisses, but speak other languages in a drawn out, over-the top manner. They are usually Neutral Good. [I have no picture]
