For more than 25 years the Futuras Classic have been easily recognisable by their unique, distinctive styling. Their characteristic design is still as influential as ever. Thanks to its low unloaded weight, the Futura Classic is synonymous with fuel efficiency. With an EEV exhaust filter, the Futura Classic represents even more advantages for the coach owner and the environment, because now extremely economical fuel consumption is combined with a considerable reduction in harmful emissions. The Futura Classic FLD and FLI are multi talents with many uses. Economical all rounders, suitable for both long and short distance service. The functional equipment of the Futura Classic FLI Intercity Edition makes it also suitable for use as an intercity bus, a city bus or a school bus. Clutch Single dry plate, 430 mm. GO-170: hydraulically operated, air assisted. ZF AS Tronic: pneumatically operated.

Front axle ZF RL-85E, independent front suspension. Rear axle ZF A-132, ratio 3.23:1 (GO-170), 2.93:1 (ZF AS Tronic) and 3.54:1 (ZF HP604C). Steering gear Power steering ZF 8098, ratio 17.0/20.0:1.
