the First Friday of the month. There will be exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at 8:00p with the recitation of the rosary. Adoration will continue throughout the night and will close with Mass on Saturday at 8:00a.

THE MONTHLY BAPTISM CLASS is scheduled for Sunday, February 5 at 2:00p in the Parish Life Center (Lower Level). This is a mandatory class for all first time parents wishing to have their baby baptized at Our Lady of Victory.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION HAPPENINGS: RCIA for Children will be available for any child of the OLV parish (3rd Grade and above) who has NOT made his or her First Holy Communion. There will be an 8-10 week Sacramental Preparation Program on the meaning of the Eucharist in our Catholic faith. Classes will be begin SOON on Wednesday's starting February 1st from 4:00-5:00pm in the PLC classrooms. The celebration of First Eucharist for this Program will take place at the Holy Thursday Service on April 5th. Long-time parishioner and former Catholic School teacher, Marsha Dieker, will facilitate this special Sacramental Program. If you have any questions or would like to register your child please call the Religious Ed. Office at 486-7678 or email: religioused@ourladyofvictory.cc Please pray for all the 8th Grade Confirmation Candidates as they make their commitment to becoming a full and participating member of the Catholic Church. The Confirmation Candidates will be making their commitments during the Confirmation Enrollment Ceremony during the 11:00am Mass Sunday, January 29th. Thank you! Confirmation Mandatory Meeting - for ALL 8th Grade Candidates and at least one parent on Thursday, February 9th at 6:45-8:30pm in the Parish Life Center. Special guest speaker, Pam Heil, Youth Minister at St. Brigid of Kildare, will give an inspiring presentation on the importance of living a virtuous life of practicing chastity and knowing the real meaning of true love. Required First Communion Parent & Child Eucharist Workshop will take place on Sunday, February 12th from 9:30-10:45am during Religious Education class in the PLC. All 2nd graders of the parish who will be making their First Holy Communion and at least one parent are expected to attend this important and interactive Workshop. Immediately following the Workshop is the 11:00am Mass which would be a wonderful way to enrich the preparation of this beautiful sacrament. Families....please plan on attending!

THE CATHOLIC LAYWOMENS RETREAT LEAGUE:


The Holy Father urges us to collect our thoughts in silence and meditate on what the Lord wants to teach us. What better time than Lent? The Catholic Laywomens Retreat League invites all women in the diocese to a silent retreat March 2-4, 2012 at St. Therese's Retreat Center, East Broad Street, Columbus. The retreat begins Friday evening and ends Sunday at noon. Father Stash Dailey, Associate Pastor of Saint Michael, Worthington is the retreat director. PRAYER CENACLE OF THE MARIAN MOVEMENT:


Holy Name Church will have a Prayer Cenacle of the Marian Movement on Tuesday, January 31. Father Francis Geremia who is responsible for the Marian Movement of Priests (MMP) for Canada and US will be visiting Columbus and will preside over the Cenacle. The meeting will begin with Holy Mass at 6:30 p.m. Consider this opportunity to participate.
