Congratulations to Sr Marie Mansbridge RSM who is celebrating her Golden Jubilee at this time. This is a significant milestone in her life and for our parish community. We give thanks to God for Sr Maries ministry in our Parish and her support to so many families within our school community. A cuppa follows Mass this evening (Saturday).

PREPARING for EASTER

As in previous years our Catholic community is joining with the Anglican and Uniting Churches during the Season of Lent as a way to prepare for Easter. This years program Towards the Light is designed to be used by small groups that meet weekly. If you wish to participate please place your contact details on the sheet provided (see Gathering Space) and indicate whether morning or afternoon is preferable for you. The booklet is also excellent for personal prayer and reflection. Lent begins on Ash Wednesday (22nd February). Congratulations: Mr Bill Quinlan was recognized in the Australia Day honours list. He was awarded an Order of Australia medal (OAM) for his community work. A most deserved winner for his tireless work for the community. Well done Bill and Elizabeth. Welcome: Bishop Peter Connors will celebrate the Eucharist in St Josephs Church this Wednesday at 9.00am for the teachers of the region.
