Testimonies
I've always had a hard time letting people get to know the real me. I'm afraid of being judged and not liked for one thing or another. I put up walls, put on fake smiles, and just kept on going. The retreat taught me that I am God's Daughter and that I am beautiful! God brings people into my life and takes them out of my life for a reason. I believe that God brought the beautiful ladies of Dayspring into my life because he knew that I needed to connect with REAL Christian women. I thank Kristy every day for inviting me to that retreat for I know God was working through her that day. I'm still on my journey and have a whole lot to learn but I know I've found a great group of women to help me get there. Faith is not believing God can. It's knowing that God will! 2011 is now in the past; 2012 is our present and so is the snow! As I write snow is falling, a rarity so far this winter. I love looking out after fresh snow has fallen, everything has a blanket of white covering it, making all look clean and pure. Purity symbolizes many things. Some think of the Virgin Mary. Some see purity as the symbol of new beginnings. For some, however, purity is what they fear they will never accomplishno new beginning and no hope. My prayer for 2012 is that through Vulnerability Ministries, lives are broke open so that people can begin to feel the purity that comes from the healing powers of God Himself. We can only go so far on our own, but when we admit our hurts, our fears, and we admit we need God then we will be just like the blanket that lays outside my window; a covering of purity over the brokenness that lies within. There is beauty in being broken
