Time has come, uh? The Industrialized world of wealthy individuals gotta share a
slice of the cake with its brothers and sisters from the less industrialized world of
wiser civilizations. But in these days times are a-changing. Actually, the
industrialized world is going to be poor because of the unhuman way-of-life it
proposes…probably this is our chance to get rid of materialism and turn towards
a self-discovery of the spiritual side of our lives…indeed, the US-turned-global-
financial-meltdown-turning-into-recession is an opportunity…a chance to
change. It is a chance to get rid of a predatory & destructive way-of-life in
order to embrace well-balanced patterns of development. This is a huge
opportunity: questioning the status quo, seizing the unknown…in other words,
CHANGE!

What you see is a Japanese calligraphy I drew, converted into ASCII
art. What’s that? 1)The Art of Japanese Calligraphy, called 書 道
(Shodou), is an ancient discipline of connection with the Universe.
When I was in Japan, I literally fell in love with It.
2) See @11 th0se $tr@nge ch@r@cter$? That’s ASCII art. It is my
vehicle for encrypting the lo-tech content of Supra-Mental 書道 into
the hi-tech code of 21st century geek culture. Having said that,
couple words about the meaning of this Calligraphy + few directions
to trigger your creative Intellect:
Kanken. Gate. Passage. Transformation. So it seems we all gotta
pass through a Gate, sooner or later in our lil’ lives. Leaving
outside our greedy egoism, our fears of the future, our shacking
mental (un)certainties. We all pass through a Gate of
Transformation in our lives, to open-up Our Hearts and Radiate a
New Life of Truth, RightAction,Peace, Love & Non-violence. Are you
ready to pass your Personal Gate?
This turbulent world is offering us several chances to change.
Today, try to see things from other perspectives. Today and
everyday do something in a different way: e.g. Just use your other
hand to text your sms/move your mouse/wash your teeth /…/…/…
Change Your Habits a lil’ bit everyday. That’s the Beginning of
Self-Healing. Do not procrastinate.

Fear, has been the undoing of the African.
Fear has made an African feel inferior in the face of the other and
this has led him to abandon all the good he had and adapt the
other thinking that it is superior to his and this has been a

great mistake.
I think it is high time that the African wake up from his slumber

and face the reality. It is time to revive his traditions,

to accept himself as he is.
The African should learn to do more and expect less because
he is fully endowed.

around and see the Beauty, the Wealth, the Wisdom,
the Possibilities that surrounds You.
No one else will do anything good for you if you
don’t do it Your-Self.

Back in the 80s, Hollywood director John Carpenter in the movie “They
Live”, leveraged the power of sci-fiction & horror movies to tackle
with US socio economics issues triggered by the (in)famous Reaganomics
package:rich get richer and poor get poorer! The main character of the
movie, an ordinary guy named John Nada (i.e. John Nothing: a no-one),
discovers a pair of special sunglasses. Wearing them, he is able to
perceive the world as it really is: a black & white world where alien
beings dominate & manipulate humans through subliminal messages such
as "OBEY", "CONFORM", "MARRY AND REPRODUCE", "CONSUME", "WATCH
TELEVISION" and "SLEEP". In other words, “They Live, You Sleep.” Got
the idea?
Reality Check: probably Carpenter wanted to warn us of the dangers
related to a global world where…every given day, corporate governments
and media moguls are bombing “We, the people” with mesmerizing
“weapons of mass distraction”…Sounds familiar? Wear your favourite
sunglasses and, please, tell me what you see…
