The Heart of A King

Opening Scripture: Psalm 92 1 Samuel 16:1-7 Deut 6:4-15 Proverbs 16:1-3 Proverbs 8:1, 5-17 Proverbs 16:5-10 man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart. And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue By me kings reign, and princes decree justice and even all judges of the earth. A divine sentence is in the lips of the king: his mouth transgresseth not in judgment. I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. (2 Tim 4:7-8) Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death. Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word. (Prov 15:20-24) Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars: (Rev 4:5) Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands. (1 Samuel 2:7-9, Proverbs 15:28-30) Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding. Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favour. Wise men lay up knowledge: but the mouth of the foolish is near destruction. Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee. (Proverbs 15:1-14) Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people. The ear that heareth the reproof of life abideth among the wise. Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment. It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: The bands of the wicked have robbed me: but I have not forgotten thy law. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

The Heart of A King

Psalm 36:1-7 The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good. Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide. He that despiseth his neighbour sinneth: but he that hath mercy on the poor, happy is he. Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find? He that loveth pureness of heart, for the grace of his lips the king shall be his friend. Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go: Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men. Apply thine heart unto instruction, and thine ears to the words of knowledge. For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes? Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. I dwell with him that is of a contrite and humble spirit Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? (Phil 1:20-30) For the kingdom is the LORD's: and he is the governor among the nations. If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. ( 1 Tim 6) The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. Masters, give unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
