Thanks too to Fr Strowbridge for helping out last weekend. Its at times like these that you wonder whether people think, Oh, youre back, are you? or I wish youd go away more often! Missionary Appeal : Thanks also to Fr Joseph Cummings M.Afr. for his appeal on behalf of the White Fathers and to all who contributed to that appeal, which raised 403.17. Baptism Preparation : Next weekend at 9.30am Mass we will once again welcome a number of families preparing for the Baptism of their children. Please keep them in your prayers. Education Sunday is also appropriately next Sunday when we are asked to pray for all those involved in our Catholic Schools and Colleges. There will be a retiring collection for the work of the Catholic Education Service. Support for those who are Divorced or Separated : The next series of meetings, organised by the Archdiocesan Marriage and Family Life Department, begins mid-February. Archbishop Kelly will preside. All are welcome. Catholics in Healthcare will celebrate Mass for the World Day of Prayer for the Sick at Christ the King, Queens Drive, Liverpool on Sunday 12th February at 3.00pm. Bishop Tom Williams will preside. Civic Mass at the Cathedral on Sunday 19th February at 3.00pm will also mark the Golden Jubilee of Archbishop Kellys ordination to the Priesthood. All are welcome to attend.
