Programme Aim
The aim of the short term programme is to combine both English language teaching and exciting individual and group activities to provide the participants with an opportunity to meet and interact with other international students.

Admission Criteria
All potential students will be required to take an English Placement Test to determine the appropriate programme suitable for them. Age of the applicant will also be taken into consideration in deciding the suitable programme. Youth: 9-13 years of age Teens: 13-16 years of age Young Adults: 16-24 years of age

Intakes
Full-time: Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, Jun, July, Aug, Sep, Oct and Nov Part-time: Jan, Mar, May, Jul, Sep and Nov

Course Duration
Foundation English: 4 weeks Functional English: 4 weeks Full-time classes are held from Monday to Friday, covering 60 hours, 3 hours per session. Part-time classes are held on Saturdays, covering 40 hours, 5 hours per session.

Awards
As there is no final assessment, the students get a certificate for attendance at the end, and are welcome to pursue any of the other appropriate courses offered at Raffles Academy or Stamford Raffles College after completing the formalities such as obtaining a student pass and meeting the programme requirements.

Refund Policy
Only course fee is refundable where written notice is received by the Principal and the amount of fee refundable is subject to the following: 1) notice received 30 days or more before the commencement of the course, 70% of the course fee paid is refundable. 2) notice received less than 30 days before the commencement of the course, 50% of the course fee paid is refundable. 3) there is no refund once the course has commenced.
