Who Created Television?

Life Before My Change Agent

Electricity Signal
John Logie Baird continued to research. He had discovered the electricity signal make the moving picture in 1925. Somewhere Phlio Farnsworth had studied the television system and demonstrated a fully electronic system with no moving parts in 1927. The demonstration was an important demonstration because there were a significant weakness with the electromechanical system created by John Logie Baird. At the beginning, the main principles of television were explored using electromechanical methods to scan, transmit and produce an image. As electronic camera and display tubes were better, electromechanical television gave way to allelectronic broadcast television systems nearly all applications.

Before TV, people were entertained by going to the circus, theatre or listened to the radio. Newspapers and radio were the most popular medias for information broadcasting and advertising. Mail played a part too. Movies were not very popular, because it was very expensive to watch a movie in the cinema. Then television was invented. It was not the work of a single person. The invention was created by many people over a period of time. The inventer were John Logie Baird, Vladimir Zworykin, Philio Farnsworth and John Walson. They contributed to invent the machine.

The First Television

The first television was created by John Logie Baird, a Scottish engineer, in 1920. It was simple. He used the signals and changed them into sounds and picture.

John Logie Baird

has invented the first color television in 1928. The color television was still based on the electromechanical system. The concept was to use red, green and blue signals to capture, deliver and display color television signals. Those principles are still in use today. Color television was broadcast in 1953.

Cable Television Iconoscope

Not long after the first television, Vladimir Zworykin, a Russian American, in 1923 invented the "iconoscope", the first camera tube. His invention had been used by RCA (Radio Corporation of America) began the first commercial broadcasts of television in 1939. Vladimir Zworykins Iconoscope tube was used for the a few years of broadcasting until it was replaced by a better camera tube during the 1940s. John Walson has been recognized as the founder of the cable television industry by the America Congress and the NCTA (National Cable Television Association). (Wikipedia source 3) In June 1948, John Walson added an external antenna on a huge pole. This improved the quality of the television services. John Walson then connected this antenna to his store with the help of cables. He developed signal boosters first time in 1948. Cable television is still in use today despite the industry has introduced Internet and 3D TV. As such TV still has significant impact into our daily life. It becomes part of the daily activity to watch TV for news, circus, music, movie and many more. Television brings all kind of programs to our doorsteps. Thus, holding the remote control and switching channels has become a habit for many people.
