About the APRW
The Asia Pacifc Regional Workshop (APRW) is
the annual regional training forum and regional
conference of the Asia Pacifc region. At the
APRW, participants from all over the region
and other parts of the world can learn new
ideas, share best practices, and rediscover
CISVs education principles in a fun and open
environment. APRW was frst held in 1971
in the Philippines and continues to build the
community of CISVers in the region.
About The Philippines
About the JASPARC
The Juniors Asia Pacifc Regional Conference (JASPARC) is a unique meeting for the
juniors from the Asia Pacifc Region of CISV. JASPARC aims to strengthen CISV in the
Asia Pacifc Region through Junior Branch (JB) development by encouraging support,
international co-operation, awareness and participation of Juniors. The conference
brings together the diverse cultural experiences of each member country and fosters
a close constructive working relationship between juniors and seniors; which makes
JASPARC and the APRW such an interesting experience!
The Philippines is a land of
smiles and quirks. We have
beautiful hot beaches and cold
tall mountains. We love eating
food so much that while were
eating lunch, were already
thinking about what to have for
dinner. We point with our mouths
and (sometimes) eat with our
hands. We are a mix of Malay,
Spanish, American, and Asian
cultures but remain uniquely
Filipino in our outlook in life:
always optimistic and full of love
for our family and friends.

Workshops
APRW will have fve workshops which will be conducted simultaneously.
JASPARC participants will attend their own workshop at the same time. There

workshops and their facilitators will be included in Infopack 2.
INTERNATIONAL PEOPLES PROJECT
The International Peoples Project is CISVs youngest and fastest growing

program is all about. The workshop at APRW is open to anyone interested in the
IPP program but will have a special focus on developing the skills to be a local
or national IPP coordinator.
MOSAIC
The Mosaic workshop will introduce participants to the Mosaic program. The
workshop will also train Mosaic facilitators capable of co-ordinating Mosaic
Projects and train Mosaic staff in their own National Association (NA) or region.
TRAIN THE TRAINERS
Get to know all about the nuts and bolts of training in the Train the Trainers
workshop. This workshop is open to anyone who provides training or wishes
to become a trainer within CISV. Participants will enhance their training
competencies and learn about best practices from members of the International
Pool of Trainers. The workshop is a dynamic, hands-on experience that includes
a practicum where participants are responsible for planning, facilitating, and
evaluating a training session.

JASPARC
More than just a

come together to develop
projects, exchange
ideas, learn about new
tools developed by the
IJB, participate in the
development of the
organization beyond the
grassroots level and be
exposed to initiatives within
