thanks to Facebook

But what I found particularly astonishing and exciting was that

If ALL THREE of them used the same strategy

and ALL THREE of them made thousands of dollars a MONTH thanks to this strategy

So I interviewed Tom, Glen, and Georgina, to find out how they are making $8,243 to
$20,000+ a month thanks to Facebook, on autopilot.

What I found out simply blew me away!

They simply created Facebook Pages and Facebook Groups

they got people to join their Groups or Like their Pages (become fans of their pages)

and they started suggesting various affiliate products to these members and fans, earning
them $20 to $60 (or more) each time they made a sale.

I decided to implement their strategy in my own business.

Within 10 weeks Id built a list of 8,870 people on Facebook and I

I need to go over some basics of Internet Marketing, just to make sure were all on
the same page.

How are all these people and myself making
THOUSANDS of dollars a month on the Internet, working
from home?

Its simple. We drive traffic to websites, where people are
converted to a buyer or a subscriber (this makes us sales
or earns us affiliate commissions).

You see, Internet marketing boils down to 2 simple things:
TRAFFIC + CONVERSIONS

Lets look at some definitions and examples, to make more sense of this:

Traffic = people clicking on links to visit a website.
e.g. This website is getting at least 1,000 visitors a day. Thats a lot of traffic!

Conversions = percentage of those visitors who buy something on that website.
e.g. 100 people visited that website and 5 of them bought. Thats a 5% conversion rate.
The website visitors were converted to a customer (hence the term conversion rate).

Earnings Per Click (EPC) = average $ amount earned per click.
e.g. 100 people clicked on my affiliate link to visit that website, and I made 2 sales, earning
me $20 in affiliate commissions per sale ($40 in total).
$40 / 100 clicks = 0.40 Earnings Per Click.

To give you an offline example lets imagine a bakery on a busy high street:

100 people walk into the bakery (TRAFFIC).

(These are potential customers. They already want bread, so we know this is targeted
traffic. They didnt walk into a bakery to buy, say, washing machines. Makes sense?)

10 of them buy something (they were converted into customers = CONVERSION)

(10 people buy / 100 visitors = 0.10 thats a 10% conversion rate)

They spend $15 each on average. 10 customers x $15 = $150 in sales.

The baker made $150 in sales / 100 visitors = $1.50 Earnings Per Visitor.

Its the same in the Online world how many visitors did you get to a website, how many
converted to a sale, and how much did you earn per visitor (or per click).

Lets have a look through this scenario:

You advertise an affiliate link on the Internet

Each sale earns you $20 in commission.

100 people click the link

1% buy (so thats 1 person)

You earn $20

Your Earnings Per Click (EPC) is $20 divided by 100 clicks = $0.20 earning per click.

If 2% buy (2 people out of 100 clicking your link) then you would earn $40, or $0.40 per click,
on average.

If each sale earned you $40 in commission, in the above scenario you would earn $80, or
$0.80 per click.

It is usual for affiliates to earn $0.25 to $1.00 per click, depending on the offer and the
source of traffic.

What if you get 400 clicks per day, 2% buy, and you earn $30 per sale?
Thats 8 sales x $30 = $240 in a DAY, just for driving traffic to websites!

(and by the way, $240 x 30 days = $7,200 per month)

The point that I am making here is that TRAFFIC = MONEY.

And by this rationale, FREE TRAFFIC = FREE MONEY!

It is this simple equation, that free traffic = free money, that can make this business so
lucrative.

Because if you are spending ZERO money on buying traffic and earning $2,000 to $10,000
a month in affiliate commissions thats a LOT of profit!

This is called the lead generation model.

Some businesses are willing to pay you $5, $20, even $100 sometimes per lead!

(Note: a sales lead or prospect is a potential customer that has shown an interest in a
product, service, or topic)

Or you can also manage Facebook Pages and accounts for other businesses (this is called
Social Media Management).

Or you can build up Facebook Page fans or Group members for someone, for a fee.

Strategy

Now that weve gone through the preliminaries and explained a bit about
Facebook and Internet Marketing, lets get into the real meat of this course.

I am about to share with you the 7-Step Strategy responsible for most of the
aforementioned success stories.

Let me walk you through this strategy step-by-step.


Step #1
Create a Iacebook account


STEP #1: Create a Facebook account

As a starting point to this strategy, you need to have a Facebook account.

You can set up Facebook accounts for FREE at http://www.facebook.com

This Facebook account will be used for marketing purposes.

So make sure you use an alias, not your real name.

This way you can benefit from a certain degree of anonymity online, and avoid any
reputational risk to your real name.

Note: by creating multiple Facebook accounts, in due course, you will be able to go after
multiple target markets.

Each Facebook account must have a different email address attached to it, so you will need
to create multiple email accounts.

I recommend using http://mail.yahoo.com or http://www.gmail.com

Tip: you can get Facebook accounts set up for you at http://www.elance.com,
http://www.freelancer.com, http://www.fiverr.com, and many other outsourcing websites.

Facebook doesnt want people to have multiple Facebook accounts, and you could get your
accounts disabled or shut down, if you are not careful and start setting up too many
accounts.

Start with just 1 Facebook account, and you can always set up a few more in the following
weeks.


Step #2
Choose 1 target market per account


STEP #2: Choose 1 target market per account

Now that you have set up your Facebook account, you must decide who you are targeting.

What is your target market? What group of people are you going to be helping?

What main problem do they have, that you are going to go find solutions (products, services,
offers) for?

Some example target markets are

entrepreneurs interested in internet marketing,
people interested in losing weight,
men looking for dating advice,
investors looking for forex trading strategies,
people who have diabetes,
people interested in buying yachts,
etc.

STEP #3: In each Facebook account, join 100 relevant Facebook
Groups and Pages.

In each Facebook account, join 100 relevant Facebook Groups and Pages.

This is where you will find prospects for your new business (people interested in buying
things from you, relevant to your chosen market).

For example, if your new Facebook account is focused on the weight loss target market, join
100 weight-loss-related groups and pages.

Tip: use the Facebook search function at the top of your Facebook profile.

Type in the keywords you are looking for:

You will then see a list of Groups and Pages relevant to that keyword:


If you click on the Groups tab on the left hand side, heres what you see:

You can see in the example above how EASY it is to find THOUSANDS of new
prospects for your marketing campaigns.

You see, Facebook is a real bonanza for marketers, because
users TELL YOU what theyre interested in, through the keywords
in their Profile description, the Groups they choose to join, the Pages
they choose to Like, even their posts on their profile Wall!


Step #4

Create A Iacebook age


STEP #4: Create A Facebook Page

In step #4, you are going to create a Facebook Page relevant to your target market.

For example, if your Facebook account is focused on the weight loss market, you could
create a Facebook Page called I Love Weight Watchers.

What Lxact|y Is A 'Iacebook age'?

A Facebook Page is a miniature landing page on Facebook (kind of like a blog) that allows a
business or an organization to communicate with users on Facebook.

It is different from a Facebook profile (which is designed for people).

While your Facebook profile represents you as a person, your fan page represents your
business or organization.

Let me show you a few examples:

Whats GREAT about Facebook Pages is that your fans will be notified of
new updates to your fan page.

Thousands (and even millions) of Facebook users can Like your page (by clicking on the
Like button at the top of your page)

which means they become a fan of that page

This means that when you write a status update on your Facebook Page

the fans of the Page get to see the status update in their NEWSFEED on Facebook!


Heres an example:

I wrote on my Facebook Page I look forward to seeing you tonight on the webinar and
then copied & pasted the webinar registration URL.

The result was that 2,125 people saw that update in their NEWSFEED
on Facebook!

(and that was just from ONE update!)

This means EXPOSURE for your business, this means
CLICKS on the link and therefore TRAFFIC to your
website, and ultimately this means MONEY.

(In a bit I am going to show you how to turn all this FREE EXPOSURE and FREE TRAFFIC
into PROFIT)


Whats ALSO GREAT about Facebook Pages is that they get ranked in the
search engines (so you can get MORE free traffic thanks to GOOGLE for
example)

and EVEN BETTER is the fact that Facebook Pages are incredibly
VIRAL!

Why? Because when someone on Facebook clicks the LIKE button on your
page

a) THEIR FRIENDS see that theyve done this (so they find out about your
page as well)

b) YOUR PAGE appears in their likes on their Facebook Profile (their
friends can see your Page there as well)

c) When they like or comment on one of your Page status updates that
update is seen in THEIR FRIENDS NEWSFEEDS TOO!

Each Facebook user has 230 friends on average.

So imagine if you have 10,000 fans on your various Facebook Pages

it is almost like having a NETWORK of 2,300,000 people that you can
potentially reach simply by posting daily STATUS UPDATES on your Facebook
Page Wall!

This means that you can quickly grow your pages to
having TENS OF THOUSANDS AND EVEN HUNDREDS OF
THOUSANDS OF FANS VERY, VERY QUICKLY!

Again, this means MORE EXPOSURE, more TRAFFIC,
and more MONEY.

Once youre logged into your Facebook account, to CREATE a Facebook Page
go here:

You might want to create a Facebook Page about an Artist or band, a celebrity or Public
Figure, a Company, Organization, or Institution, a Local Business or Place, a Brand or a
Product, etc.

Typically, I personally like to create simple Pages about a Cause or Topic.

For example, if I am targeting the weight loss market, I could create a Facebook Page called
I Love Weight Watchers.

So Id click on the Cause or Topic option, and type in the TITLE of my Page:

When I click then on Get Started, heres what happens:

The next thing I need to do, is add a picture that is relevant to the topic.

Now once you have created your community page you will need to find a suitable picture
(avoid using pictures that break copyright rules).

Use one of your own pictures (i.e. a picture youve taken yourself), or go to
www.publicdomainpictures.net

I usually go to http://www.google.com/images to find pictures (though sometimes I just one of
my own pictures).


In http://www.google.com/images I type in lose weight in the search box:

I download one of the images (make sure it isnt a copyrighted image), and then upload it to
my new Facebook Page. Heres what the page looks like then:


Next, I click on the info tab:

I am asked to type in some Basic Information about the Page:

Fill in a bit about who this page is for, and type in one of your URLs (e.g. your affiliate link, or
CPA link, or a link to an optin page of yours that captures leads, or a link to a website of
yours where you sell your product, etc).
I write who this Page is for (what my target market is), and if I have a website I want to send
traffic to already, I add it there as well:

Next, I click on the Wall tab, and I add a short welcome message again, pointing people
to a website (if I have one ready otherwise, Ill fill this in at a later stage):

CONGRATULATIONS, you now have a new Facebook Page. Easy, right?

search and images. (note: for commercial Facebook Pages such as the ones you are about
to create, best to zone in on web search and products)

If we want to see the most popular searches over the last 30 days for web search, we
simply select the appropriate category and click search.

In the example below I have selected all categories.


These 10 phrases have been generating a lot of buzz over the last 30 days on the web.
Now lets see the popular phrases for products over the last 30 days:

We can see here that the most popular rising searches for products is digital camcorder,
and iphone 4 case is also listed there.

Another tool I use for my research which has had excellent response is to use the power of
Google Trends.

These are the popular trends on Google right now.

I have highlighted the celebrity keywords because these are the ones that can generate a
lot of searches on Facebook in a short space of time.

Using these techniques we can see what is currently hot right now in the news and what is
being talked about.

Research like this also allows us to create a Facebook Page before anyone else and start
generating traffic before anyone else does.

This kind of research helps ensure that your Facebook Page goes viral fast.

STEP #5: Buy An Old-Style Facebook Group & Change Name

In step #5, you are going to buy an old-style Facebook Group on
www.Fiverr.com or www.Odesk.com, take it over, and then change the
name of the Group to something relevant to your target market.

What Lxact|y Is A 'Iacebook Group'?

A Facebook Group is like a private club on Facebook.

Groups have administrators that manage the group, approve applicants or invite others to
join.

The key benefit of Facebook Groups, is that when you have a Facebook Group, you can
actually send direct messages (emails) all the members of your
Group! (so long as your group doesnt exceed 5,000 members)

You can find out more about Facebook Groups at http://www.facebook.com/groups

I have many Facebook Groups

In total I have more than 20,000 Group Members, across multiple groups, that I can send a
Facebook message to.

How can you profit from this? Well, for example you can promote to your members

Your own products

Your own services

Affiliate offers

CPA offers

Webinars

Seminars

Etc.

NOTE: make sure these offers are relevant to the topic of your group!

Note: Your status updates in your Facebook Groups do not get seen in the newsfeeds of
your members.
Also, psychologically it is less of a commitment to click on a Like button rather
than commit to being a part of a Group.

For these reasons Facebook Groups dont grow virally, and they dont tend to grow anywhere
near as fast as Facebook Pages do.

But the PLUS side though is that with Facebook Groups, by clicking on the Message
All Members button, you can email the members directly, within Facebook!

Sending out offers to your list of members is sometimes like making CASH ON DEMAND!

Although you can create NEW Facebook Groups in the same way as you can Facebook
Pages, at http://www.facebook.com/groups...

these new-style Facebook Groups dont allow you to invite friends to join, nor do they
allow you to send messages to your members.
(instead, you post updates on your Groups Wall, which get seen in the members
newsfeeds, like happens with Facebook Pages and their fans).
This of course defeats the point of having a Group in the first place.

The GOOD news is that Facebook Groups created BEFORE this change in the format, can
STILL invite lots of friends to join at once, and you can STILL send out up to 5,000 emails
at a time to all the members!

So what is recommended is to BUY an old-style Facebook Group on Fiverr.com or
Odesk.com, become the Admin of the group, and then change the NAME of the Group.

It is recommended you delete the existing members, if the topic of the Group you bought is
too much at odds with the topic of the target market you are focusing on. This will avoid
having the members of the Group you took over complain to Facebook about the messages
you are sending them.

$5 per hour) for them to transfer their Facebook Groups over to me.

Because they want to build up their feedback score on Odesk.com, so that they can get
better outsourcing jobs, they gladly agree to sell me their Groups for just $1-$2 each.

I spent just $122 to buy 72 Facebook Groups, and I quickly got 21,000 Group members!

I also use www.tweetadder.com to build my Twitter list. This software adds 70-80 people to
each of your Twitter accounts each day. I am getting 2,000 new followers a week now!

In the last 32 days, by posting a link to my optin page on Facebook and Twitter, I built up a
mailing list of 2,000 subscribers without spending a dime!

My secret regarding how I make money online (how I monetize all this free traffic), is that like
I learned at your seminar, I give away ebooks and products for free, and I upsell them on the
thank you page! (the download page). So simple, yet very, very effective.

In total I have spent less than $250 on setting up this new business.

I am now making a full-time living thanks to what I learned from you, and soon Ill
reach $5,000 a month.

Heres what my seminar attendees Shaqir Hussyin, Glen Kirkham,
and Tom Miller have to say about Facebook Groups

One of my seminar attendees, Shaqir Hussyin, told me that he makes $100 to $500 or more,
every time he sends out one or two messages to his Group members.

Thats CASH ON DEMAND.

We are talking quite literally here about push-button profits.

Glen Kirkham says that with 1,000 people in your group, assuming you have a modest sales
conversion of 1% (hes had over 15% sales conversions in certain FB niches), selling a
product for, say, $30, you have made 10 sales.

Thats 10 x $30 = $300 CASH. (If its an affiliate offer, and youre getting 50%, thats $150
to you).

According to Tom Miller, if you send an affiliate offer to 3,000 members of a group, via direct
message, you should expect to make $200 to $300.

If you do this once a week, that represent approximately $800 - $1,200 per month.

I myself use my Facebook Groups to fill my online webinars. We get 700+ people to join the
webinar, 300 to 400 listen in and watch the webinar LIVE, and make $6,000 or more per
webinar. (more on this later)

Note: once youve bought a Facebook Group, the seller must make you an
Admin of the Group, and then remove themselves from the Group.

then change the name and the description of the group, as well as the

STEP #6: Get Thousands Of Facebook Fans & Group Members

OK, so if youve followed the steps so far, you have

1. Set up a Facebook Account

2. You chose a target market for that account

3. You joined 100 relevant Pages and Groups (from that target market)

4. You set up a Facebook Page

5. You Bought a Facebook Group, Took it over as an Admin, and Changed
the Groups name.

Now its time to get thousands of targeted Facebook fans and Group members
on board.

(by targeted, I mean that these people prospects from your target market and
are interested in the topic youre focusing on e.g. weight loss).

Why do we want to have thousands of Fans and Members?

Because this can be highly lucrative and make you a lot of money.

Let me illustrate this with some numbers


now Much Is a Iacebook Ian (Cr Group Member) Worth?

I estimate a Facebook Fan or Group Member is worth on average $0.25 per month.

Let me explain my rationale for coming to this figure.

Kavit Haria says he earns $0.18 to $0.50 per fan per month (depending on how actively he
markets products and offers to them).

That averages out at approximately $0.34 per fan per month.

When I interviewed Nadeem Malik he told me that he has 4,500 fans and makes $1,200 a
month (he posts 1 x per day on his Facebook Page Wall).

Thats $0.26 per fan per month. This means, by the way, that he needs 20,000 fans to
make approximately $5,000 a month from this strategy.

When I interviewed Adam C. Miller he explained that he has 55,000 fans on his weight loss
page and makes $450 to $600 a day (he posts 4 x per day on his Facebook Page Wall)

Thats $0.27 per fan per month.

According to Tom Miller, if you send an affiliate offer to 3,000 members of a group, via direct

According to a new study by Vitrue, the average fan is worth $3.60 in earned media.

Glen Kirkham says that with 1,000 people in your group, assuming you have a modest sales
conversion of 1% (hes had over 15% sales conversions in certain FB niches), selling a
product for, say, $30, you have made 10 sales, = $300

$300 / 1,000 group members = $0.30

Again, thats $0.30 per group members per month!

The point I am making is that there seems to be a consensus that Facebook Page FANS and
Facebook Group MEMBERS are worth approximately $0.25 per month.

In this STEP #6 of this course I am going to teach you how to get tens of thousands of

There are many things you can do to get thousands of Fans and Group Members.

Lets start with the basic things you must do.

a. C||ck on the 'Share' 8utton And ost 1o our rof||e

For starters, when you set up your Facebook Page, you can click on the Share button and
post it to your Profile, so that your Facebook Friends see it.

You can also Send as a Message instead, although this is very time consuming, as you
would need to choose your Facebook friends one by one (though maybe this is a task for an
outsourcer to do for you more on this in Step #8).

b. Inv|te eop|e Irom 1he 100 ke|evant Groups And ages ou Io|ned, 1o
8ecome our Ir|ends

Every day, go into some of these Groups and Pages and invite 50 or more
new friends from these targeted Facebook Groups and Pages, to your
relevant Facebook account.

(e.g. Invite people from the 100 weight-loss Groups and Pages that you joined, to join your
Facebook account where you are focusing on the weight-loss market)

This weight loss page has 4,293 fans: This weight loss group has 3,317 members:

You can click on one of the people, go to their profile, and then click on Add as Friend:

The result is that each one of your new Facebook accounts grows with targeted prospects
(i.e. people that we know are interested in this specific topic).

Tip: you might need to have 8-10 Facebook accounts and invite just 20 people per account
per day, so that Facebook doesnt freeze your account.

Doing this all yourself, manually, on a full-time basis, means that you can probably get 5,000
or so facebook friends in 30 days (if you use multiple accounts).

Thats a good start. But luckily there are some strategies to turbocharge your results (for
example, by using outsourcers or software automation more on this later).

c. Inv|te our Ir|ends

You can of course invite all your Facebook friends to Like your page, by clicking on the
Suggest to Friends button, and then selecting your friends (I recommend putting your
friends in lists of 200 or so people, to make this task faster).

d. romote our age Cn our Webs|te

If you have an existing website or blog that is getting good traffic, you can always click on the
Add Like Box option, and have a Like button on your sites.

e. 1e|| our Ians

You can upload up to 5,000 contacts with a .csv file onto facebook and invitations to like the
page will be sent to these people (this is an option for you if you have an existing mailing list).


f. Do Io|nt Venture 'Ad-Swaps' on Iacebook

Thanks to this strategy I built up a mailing list of 20,000 subscribers at zero cost, and last
year I did $200,000 in sales in 90 minutes thanks to a webinar.

The name of this strategy? Its called Joint Venturing.

It can be VERY powerful, very fast, and costs absolutely NOTHING to implement.

You see, your ideal prospects (your target market) are probably already on someone elses
mailing list.

Theyre probably already a member in someones Facebook Group, or they already liked
someones Facebook Page about this topic

So why not find other Group creators and Page administrators in your niche, to do joint
ventures with!

Simply contact them and say something like,

Post 4 updates a day on the Facebook Page Wall.

Important: alternate good content (valuable information, or interesting quotes, sayings,
statistics, facts, news, tips, etc) with offers (selling products that make you a commission).

This way people will like you and your Facebook Pages and Groups, and will click more.

Note: the more often you post on your Facebook Page Wall the faster your Facebook Page
will grow (this is not the case for Facebook Accounts or Facebook Groups).

Why will your Facebook Page grow faster and virally?

Because your posts will appear in the Newsfeed of your pages fans, and when they like
the post or the when they comment on the post

then their friends see it as well in their newsfeed!

This means that the more often you post, the more likely it is for people to notice your Page
and more and more people click to join your Facebook Page!

This viral growth can be HUGE!

For example, Adam Miller posted 4 times a day, and built up 55,000 fans for his Facebook
Page about weight loss in less than a month!

Nadeem Malik got 400 of his friends to Like his Page, started posting 1 post per day, and
built up his Page to 4,500 fans in less than a month!

Tip: post 1 to 4 status updates on your Facebook Page Wall per day, with interesting
content, and your number of fans will grow virally very fast.

Make sure you provide interesting content to them on a regular basis.

(videos), and also, look for lists of famous quotes, sayings, aphorisms, etc. on Google.

It is recommended that you give interesting content 2-3 times, and then make an offer in your

I spent $320 on Fiverr.com gigs towards the end of last year and I got 11,680 business
opportunity seekers to join my various Facebook Groups in less than 2 months!

This means that I got prospects (leads) for less than $0.03 per lead!

I found that every $5 gig got me approximately 100 to 200 new Facebook Group members or
Page fans.


By the way, Fiverr.com is not the only website that offers such gigs.

Another way of contacting all your Facebook friends and informing them of your new
Facebook Page, is by setting up a Facebook Event in your Facebook profile, inviting all of
your friends, and then emailing them through the Message All Guests tool in your Facebook
Event (more on how to do this in a bit).


[. Use Iacebook Ads to promote your age

The latest strategy for getting thousands and thousands of Fans quickly, involves using
Facebook Ads.

When you are on your Facebook Page, you can click on Promote with an Ad:


A sample ad would look something like this:

The upside of using Facebook Ads to promote a Facebook Page, is that you can very
quickly get MILLIONS of impressions on Facebook, and lots and lots of traffic, for just $0.01
to $0.05 per click.

The downside of this strategy, is that it is not a free traffic generation strategy, which means
that you need to spend money to get this traffic.

Let me explain what I mean.

My friend Nick Peall got 60,000 fans to like a Facebook Page in 2 days, thanks to Facebook
ads

and then repeated the feat by getting 100,000 fans to another Facebook Page in just 24
hours!

He gets traffic for just $0.01 to $0.03 per click.

To get 60,000 people to click Like on his Facebook Page, he got 200,000 people to click on
his ad in just 48 hours.

200,000 x $0.01 = $2,000 in advertising expenses.

The good news was he made $5,000 straight away by promoting a CPA offer to them!

AND he now has more than 60,000 fans (and growing all the time, virally) that he can
communicate with and promote offers to!

One of my seminar attendees, Imran Naseem, used this strategy to promote one of his
Facebook Pages.

He got 426,000 impressions of his ad (his ad appeared on peoples Facebook accounts
426,000 times), and he got 903 clicks on his ad, at a cost of 9.59 ($15).

Thats just $0.017 per click!

Basically, he spent $15 and got 500 new fans this way (and this now
grows virally).


Creating a Facebook Ad to promote your Facebook Page is fairly straightforward.

When you click on Promote with an Ad

this page appears, where you can Design Your Ad:

You will need to
Write the Title of the ad
Write the Body of the ad
Upload a picture (although typically it is recommended you use the same picture as
you have for the Page itself)

In the next section you need to select who you are targeting with your ad.

For examples, I have chosen below Women, aged 25-45, who live in 5 English-speaking
countries. We see that there are 69,147,140 women on Facebook who fit these criteria.

But in the next section, Likes & Interests, I am going to narrow the targeting to Women who
are part of Groups or Pages relating to weight loss, or losing weight:


You can see below that I have found 200,840 Women, in these 5 countries, in that age
group, that fit these criteria:

Because my ad is relevant to their Likes and Interests, they are much more likely to click on
my ad.

TIPS FOR WRITING YOUR AD

Making ads that grab attention is essential for a successful campaign.

The more attention-grabbing your advertisement, the more clicks (traffic) you get and the
cheaper your traffic becomes (this results in higher profit levels and allows you to scale up a
campaign rapidly).

Your ads must ENGAGE users, and needs to

1. GRAB ATTENTION! (the image)
The Image needs to tell the story, and grab their attention! (dont just put your logo!!)
The image determines to a large extent your clickthrough rate.

2. ASK A QUESTION! (the title)
Headlines should usually be in the form of questions.
The title is important.
The IMAGE makes a great Facebook Ad, but the title and body text influences your
conversion rate.
While the image pulls in the users eyes, the title and body text are what cause the
user to click onto the ad.

3. MAKE A PROMISE! (the body text)
Body text should make ONE big promise and that promise should be delivered on
the landing page.
Also, have a Call to Action, to encourage people to click. (e.g. 'Cllck here now')

If you do these 3 things you will produce solid ads.

Tips For Writing Compelling Ad Copy:

Extra Ad Writing Tips:

1. When writing Facebook Ads, remember AIDA:
- Attention (grab their Attention!),
- Interest (whats in it for their self-interest, whats in it for me),
- Decision/Benefit,
- Action! (commands on exactly what they must do next!)

2. Be conservative, especially in the beginning
If youre selling bicycles, simply say: '8lcycles for sale'.

3. Tweak ads after 2 days if CTR is under 2%

Apparently, if your ad gets less than 2% CTR, Facebook will show your ad less and less
(you may need to tweak targeting; see previous section)

4. Plan to rotate in new ads and pictures every 7-10 days (or whenever CTR drops)

People dont wake up and go to Google and type in London plumber, then do it again the
next morning, then the next morning, etc. Facebook is different to Google. On Facebook
youre marketing to the SAME people every single day.

Theres 114,000 or so fans of Rich Dad Poor Dad. Within a few weeks ALL of them will have
seen my ad! (and thats where banner blindness can set in). Their brain ignores it from then
on. So youve got to go in there and change the ad, and change the picture.

TIPS FOR HAVING COMPELLING IMAGES THAT GRAB ATTENTION:

Your Ad IMAGE must be
Attention grabbing
Relevant
Sexy women images for male demographics
Pictures showing women with their cleavage, for certain offers, gets the most clicks.
Pictures of people smiling, looking straight out, gets CLICKS.

The image of the ad is the MOST important part of the ad. This is because the image is what
grabs the users attention away from the normal browsing experience while on Facebook.

Ads without images tend to under-perform compared to those ads with images. But what
image will work best?

Its impossible to tell exactly what type of image will bring the most clicks. You really need to
split test multiple images. Here are some guidelines to find the best types of images based
upon what has worked REALLY well for me:

Use Amateur Looking Photos Those professional stock photography looking photos tend
to look too much like an advertisement while the amateur looking photos tend to look like
user generated content that people are used to seeing on Facebook. In the sample ads
above, you can see that the photo of the dad with his baby does not look professional.

Use Shocking Images Shocking images catch the attention of users very well. This can be
a car crash or a face full of acne for example. Shocking images grab the attention because
we are all interested in the things that shock us.

Use Celebrity Images Celebrity images are hard to get through Facebooks approval
process at times but if you can get them through. The images generally grab the users
attention very well.

Use Localized Images When youre targeting a specific region, using an image that only
that region would know about or that relates to that region can be very powerful in grabbing
the users attention. One such example is showing a California drivers license as the ad
image when targeting California drivers for an auto insurance offer.

Remember: Dont use plain and boring images.
(You can find images using Google image search, but be aware of any copyright issues)

Test Multiple Images
Just like I mentioned a little above, you never know what will do well for your particular
campaign. You really need to start by testing 3-4 images and keep the winner.
Sneaky trick: Use extra words in your images, to sneak in extra copy!


BIG FACEBOOK AD NO-NOS

No all caps (use proper capitalization)

No incorrect spelling, grammar, or slang

Facebook doesnt like ALL CAPS, irrelevant images, dont use funky characters
like $ for money or 4 for for, etc.

No incomplete thoughts

NO B.S. Discounts
(They go and check your landing page)

We put free download on the ad, but people could get the free download only if
they liked our page.

If they have to optin to download it, or take some action to download it,
FACEBOOK WILL REJECT THE AD.

The promise from you ad must be instantly delivered after they click.
If you say in the ad Subscribe to download XYZ, then its ok.

Use of irrelevant images (big no-nos!)

Nothing can be offensive

Headlines like Hey You, Ashtray Breath!, Or: Hey Fattie! are very effective with
Google Adwords but you CANT use this with Facebook Ads. (Facebook wants
users to have a positive, nice experience on their site and not be offended or
made to feel bad while on Facebook.

Facebook wont allow shocking ads or insulting ads.

They want a friendly user experience. They dont want anyone entering their
private CLUB and insulting their members. (remember: you are a guest of
Facebook)

No abbreviations or symbols for words

Tell the truth, write it like youre being graded by a teacher, and be nice.

STEP #7: Find products to SELL.

So you now have thousands of Fans and Group Members.

You have been giving them some great content for free, so far.

Great. It is time to start monetizing that network you have created and the TRAFFIC that you
can now generate on a daily basis.

REMEMBER: Financial independence can start at just 400 clicks

What you need to do now, is make a list of interesting, good, relevant products that
solve your target markets problems.

You can of course use these strategies to sell your own products and services.

You can also create your own products.

I like creating products by interviewing experts (I use Skype and the software called
CallBurner, to record the call).

(I also like creating products by filming seminars, but that is much more expensive).

You can also buy PLR (Private Label Rights) products, that you can put your name to,
edit them, change the title, sell them and keep 100% of the money.

(Simply go to www.google.com and type in PLR products, and you find hundreds of
websites selling these. If you are looking for PLR products on a specific topic, go to Google
and type in e.g. PLR + weight loss )

You can license products (I have bought many, many product licenses over the years).

I do this by simply contacting the owner or creator of a product (a course, ebook, DVDs,
software, website, etc.) and offering to pay them for a license. You would be surprised at
what gems you can pick up this way.

And of course, you can find products that you can affiliate yourself to, and earn a
commission for each sale you make.

The benefit of promoting affiliate offers is that you dont need to create the product, you dont
need to create the sales letter, and you dont need to create the website.

You make money by simply getting people to CLICK on your affiliate link.

Because you dont have to create a product, build websites,
and write sales letters (all these things take a lot of time), you
can get started with internet marketing in a matter of
minutes, rather than months!

In the Clickbank Marketplace, type in the word betting in the search box.

You will then see the most popular products in that category. You will see
How much money you earn per sale (Avg $/sale),
What the product is about (theres a short description under the product title),
You can look at the sales letter (by clicking on the product title),
And you can click on the Promote button to get your affiliate link.

Important Note: A typical sales page for a product on Clickbank has a conversion rate
of between 1% and 4% on average, depending on how targeted your traffic is.

( This means that 100 people clicking on your affiliate link should
generate 1 to 4 sales for you)

A typical affiliate commission on Clickbank is in the $20 to $40 range.

Some of these products though, pay on average $87 to $113 commission PER SALE!

Like I mentioned previously, the benefit of promoting affiliate offers is that
you dont need to create the product, you dont need to create the sales
letter, and you dont need to create the website.
You simply get people to CLICK on your affiliate link.

(Note: CPA networks are large networks of affiliates. Advertisers incentivize affiliates on

To find successful offers to promote via Facebook,

1. Ask your affiliate manager (in the CPA network you belong to)

2. Look at what Ads are running on Facebook already

3. Pick from this list of campaigns on the next page.

(Tip: before you pick the offer you are going to be promoting, be sure to check out their
advertising policy guidelines. http://www.facebook.com/ad_guidelines.php so that you dont
waste time creating a campaign that simply is not allowed on Facebook.)


Once you have joined some CPA networks and found some interesting offers to promote,
you can suggest some offers, 2-3 times a month, to your Facebook Page Fans, Group
Members, or Facebook Friends

I want to share with you 5 case studies of seminar attendees of mine that are
profiting from Facebook right now.

5 Facebook Marketing Case Studies

Case Study #1 Nadeem Malik

Nadeem is one of my coaching clients.

Last month we were speaking on Skype, and he told me that hed made $1,200 in just 30
days thanks to his Facebook Page.

He simply followed the basic strategy outlined above. He set up a Facebook account,
then he set up a Facebook Page (http://www.facebook.com/MillionaireClub), and he started
posting on his Page.

He simply posted once or twice a day on his Facebook Page wall, occasionally posting an
affiliate link (for example hell promote a Clickbank.com product theres 12,000 products to
choose from in there).

He has 4,500 fans on his page. This means that just 4,500 people on Facebook Like his

Case Study #5 Vlad Danciu

This strategy was revealed to me 22-year-old Romanian student Vlad Danciu, and I call it
The Facebook Builder Strategy.

Vlad watched the Live Stream of my Clickbank Millionaire Masterclass a few months ago,
and got in touch with me via Facebook.

We chatted on Skype recently, and he explained to me how he makes close to $4,000 a
month by being a Facebook Builder!

It is so simple!

He posts this message on Facebook from time to time:

So when he takes on a client, he promotes their Page or Group to all his Facebook friends,
across 27 accounts.

This helps him quickly get 5,000 members into a Facebook Group or Page.

When you have your own Facebook Group, you can send email messages to the members

I recommend that you hire 1 to 10 outsourcers, gradually, to work on this business for you.

Add them on Skype, and speak to them do a brief interview, to check their level of English.

Ask them why they want this job, ask them about previous jobs theyve held, ask them about
what they want from this job, etc.

Give them a simple task to complete for example one of the following:
- Create a Facebook Page (or a Facebook Group)
- Create a new Facebook account
- Join 100 Facebook groups in the weight loss niche market
- Contact 20 potential JV partners on Facebook (e.g. creators of Facebook Groups
relating to the Forex market) and arrange some joint ventures.

Key qualities your outsourcer must have:

1. Must speak good English
2. Must complete first task well and in time
3. Must have internet access at home!

What you need to do (at least at first):

1. Hire outsourcers
2. Train them, give them clear instructions, show them exactly what they need to do
3. Track their individual results (traffic, affiliate commissions earned, growth of Pages,
Groups, and Accounts) and fire under-performing outsourcers.
4. Find relevant offers and affiliate products to sell, and create the affiliate links, write the
messages and facebook updates

Note: you can outsource all of these tasks too.

Managing Your Team daily supervision

1. They absolutely MUST send you a daily update.

This is a short email detailing what activities they completed that day, what
challenges they encountered, and how they got around them.

2. You can hire one outsourcer to manage the rest of your team (once you have 6 or
more outsourcers)

Motivating Your Team carrot & stick approach

1. Reward your best-performing outsourcers
(e.g. $100 bonus, a Flip camera, etc.)

2. Fire your worst-performing outsourcers every 2-3 months.

This process of rewarding your best outsourcers and firing the non-performing ones will
result in having a solid team of highly profitable, well-trained outsourcers.

According to Georgina Lany, she hired 30 outsourcers before ending up with 10 good ones.

How To Be A Great Manager

1. Be CLEAR about your expectations about EXACTLY what you want and expect from your
employee, what they are being measured upon.

2. Make sure you inspect their work. They need to know somebody cares about their work
and what they are doing. Make sure you show an interest in their DEVELOPMENT.

3. Comment positively on their work at least ONCE every 5 days.

Tracking Each Outsourcers Results

Georgina Lany assigns 1 target market to each outsourcer she hires, and sets up 1
Clickbank affiliate account for each one.

So, for example, if shes earned $1,400 this month in her Weight Loss clickbank account,
she knows that this is thanks to her outsourcer responsible for the weight loss market!

My friend Mark Vurnum had as many as 80 outsourcers at one point. He also tracked each
ones results by the affiliate commissions generated in each of 80 Clickbank accounts.

Good Day To You, I hope this message finds you well....

After an incredible response to the job posting regarding email and Facebook account
creation, I have carefully chosen four people to further onto an Interview phase because you
seem A. very capable to do this job B. You seem like very friendly people and C. I think you
have what it takes to help get this project going.

I am not really one who likes interviews, either giving or receiving, so I would just like to give
you a brief overview of your role within this exciting journey and then you can let me know if it
is something you are willing and able to do.

1. We are looking at creating multiple new email addresses (preferably via Yahoo, I found
this the easiest, and if you use PC, I recommend using roboform to fill the information).... The
details within the email account creation are not important i.e. the name and postal address...
We just need a new email account to hold our new Facebook account.

2. Go to Facebook.com and create a new account with the new email you have just
created.... The name of the person can be any *female* name, so, Lucy Jones, Sarah Smith,
Maria Saunders, Hayley Hooper etc etc. (If stuck for ideas, I suggest looking at a website for
female baby names)

3. Once the facebook account is created, we go and check the email account... Facebook will
have sent us an email to confirm our new account.. click the link to confirm and validate the
new FB account.

4. Go out and find a picture (I suggest compiling a huge database of female pictures before
actually doing this step, just to save time and have a lot of pictures in one folder) and
uploading it to Facebook as the profile picture for the account.

5. Lastly, We want to simply copy and paste a script I have created to fill in the "info" tab in
Facebook as well as a passage of text for underneath the profile pic.

(PLEASE USE THE SAME PASSWORD, & DATE OF BIRTH FOR EVERY EMAIL AND FB
ACCOUNT YOU CREATE)

That's it! Once thats done I would like you to email me an excel spreadsheet file with the
columns as follows:

Email: - Password: - ProxyHost: - ProxyPort - Birthday:

(Leave Proxy Host and Proxy Port as "default")

So as you can see it is a very easy process and once you have created a couple of accounts
you will be able to go through this process quickly and efficiently.
