As Personal Care Electrics Buyer, achieved a 20% sales increase and a 1.1% gross margin increase by introducing new items and refreshing the private label program. Responsible for $15.1 million in sales. As Health & Beauty Aids Assistant Buyer, achieved a 5% sales increase and .29% gross margin increase through markdown, markup and inventory control. Responsible for $12.7 million of a $75.3 million department.

Responsible for purchasing Beauty Care commodities for a 25 mass merchandiser chain in Philadelphia. As Health & Beauty Care Buyer, created new advertising vehicles such as coupon books and rebate programs to increase store traffic in a $30.0 million department. Managed a distributor change in both health & beauty care and cosmetics to improve store service level and gross margin. Responsible for negotiating, selecting and implementing new distributor program. Converted cosmetic department from a department store model to self-service. As Cosmetic & Personal Care Electrics Buyer, increased sales from $7.9 million to $9.4 million in 2 years. Achieved a 42% increase in GMROI, a 16% increase in gross margin and a .7 increase in turnover.
