CHAPTER FOUR SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION 4.

1 INTRODUCTION System implementation is a collection of interdependent physical devices together with their programming which provides the functionality and performance for which the system was design. The purpose of system implementation is to make the new system available to a prepared set of user (the deployment) and positioning ongoing support and maintenance of the system within the performing organization at a finer level of detail, deploying the system consist of executing all steps necessary to educate the customers on the use of the new system.

4.2

ADOPTED SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION The adopted system implementation is the parallel method.

PARALLEL ADOPTION:- Is a method for transferring between an old (information technology) system to a target (information technology) system in an organization. In order to reduce risk, the old and new system runs simultaneously for some period of time after which after which, if the criteria for the new system are met, the old system is disabled. The process requires careful planning and control and a significant investment in labor hours.

SYSTEM MODULES Login - Validate user to login and access the system. Main Menu - .Display available options Property .Master Registration of property with all details Client Master Registration of clients Vendor Registration of Vendors Match Matching the property with clients with multiple parameters.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENT

System requirement phase implies that y y y A minimum of 128mb of RAM size be use Minimum processor speed of 120HKHZ At least a 64MB of hard disk drive

y y

Window vista or window 70s, with Visual Basic 6.0 installed. While one the work stations or compilers that both the staff and end users use to access the site any operating system that supports Gu1 (graphical user interface) and GU1 web browsers would do.

y y y

High speed internet access with backup plan for internet access. Electric power supply at least during working hours in all service centres. NIC (Network Interface Card) should be on all the computers.

4.4

SYSTEM TESTING AND DEBUGGING There is were we test to see if the system works, to avoid surprises that tend to occur at

the worst possible time. Proper testing requires knowing the expected result. A test plan should include test that verify the require functions over the range of conditions the system will encounter. In this research work, the simulated system has been tested on a local server and it is working properly without issues.

4.5

SYSTEM MAINTENANCE

The basic routine maintenance task are DATABACK-UP-To backup is to create a redundant copy, so that if anything should happen to the original file, you have recourse to the backup. The process can be as simple as copying files to diskette. Where the files are too big, a better solution is to use archiver (such as win zip) or a backup utility to create a single compressed file form a collection of data files and to split this over as many diskette as required. Simply running on antivirus utility is not enough, even if it is kept up to date.

For best performances, you can use on demand rather than on access antivirus scanner, but this required user to know when to use this and act accordingly.

4.6

FILE SYSTEM MAINTENANCE Check that sufficient free space is available Check the file system, for errors and manage these Defragment the file system once it is known to be error free. The tools used here are window explorer (or its my computer installation), scan disk and defragment. These research works have, among other things attempted to introduce, review, discuss

and analyze interactive entertainment system. In this study, playing game you experience challenge, educate, release, escape frustration and satisfaction; however you cannot experience glory.

CHAPTER 5 CONCLUSION AND FUTURE ENHANCEMENT

This project was developed to fulfill user and business requirement; however there are lots of scope to improve the performance of the Property Management System in the area of user interface, database performance, and query processing time. Etc.

So there are many things for future enhancement of this project. The future enhancements that are possible in the project are as follows.

y y y y y y y y

Linking and integration of any legacy system for accounting. Integration with Vendors and other property agency database through Web Services Connection to third-party OLAP applications Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) system between banks, other agency and their vendors In the area of data security and system security. Provide more online tips and help. To optimize the query which is embedded in the system. Creating web interface to share property details to the client.
