Once the Holy Prophet happened to"pass by few companions 'r (r. a.) fJ; nearby a dead goat was lying; He asked them to. put it to some use. They told him it was dead and haram. (ref. verse 2/173, ---, 6/145 and 16/115). He 'told them that eating of dead goat was '-\i haram but its skin could be put to. some useful purpose such as J making shoes or a jacket. (S. B. 23. 3 l 5) ,. '
