Software Test Analyst 5 Finacle Core Banking Solution, Finacle CRM, MAX integration layer, HP Quality Center, Windows Profile Implementation of Finacle Core Banking solution for Nigeria, Namibia and 18 other African countries. Finacle has already gone live in Nigeria, while Namibia roll-out UAT is in progress. Functional and System Integration Testing of Finacle Core-Banking solution is required. Functional testing includes functional testing of different core banking modules such as CRM, CASA, Payments and Clearing, Loans etc. SIT involves testing of Finacle Integration with various CIB and PBB applications such as ATM, SWIFT, e-banking and Business Online, as well as co-ordination with Central Bank, which acts as Banks correspondent for RTGS/EFT/Clearing Payments. Currently working as a Test Lead at Offshore and leading a team of 4 people, who are responsible for assuring Quality of Payment Systems of Finacle, which will be implemented in 4 African Countries in Q2, 2012. Was involved in testing the GL file, DO file and 360 degree file (to view HPNL customer account details in Finacle CRM) in Finacle. Co-ordinated Payments testing of Finacle CB from onsite. The team did the requirement analysis, testing and co-ordination of CoreBanking Payment Systems - ACH, SWIFT, RTGS and Clearing. Involved in Gathering business requirements, and deriving test requirements, test scenarios and test cases from them. Also heavily engaged in Business Analysis and Impact Analysis. Profile

Finacle treasury solution is an integrated yet modular front, middle and back office solution. The Finacle treasury solution supports a wide range of financial products and their derivatives in Forex and Money Markets. It also provides full back office processing capabilities, including General Ledger, and has extensive middle office features such as limits, risk and liquidity management. The main aim for the testing of FT solution in this project was to maintain the product which was already implemented across various banks across India, Middle-East and Europe. This was achieved by testing of bug fixes for defects in production using Lotus Notes Outlook and Defect Management tool. The other aspect included testing of enhancements of the solution based on changing needs of Banks Involved in maintenance testing of Finacle Treasury Application. Involved in sanity and system testing of various product releases. (Depends on bank-to-bank) Issue testing of the current and future releases. It majorly included preparing a bug-fix for the issues and executing them. Enhancement testing of the newer enhancements of the older versions of FT solution

It offers check processing services, including mail and distribution, pre-capture, check image, capture, processing, research and adjustment, tracing, check inspection and secure check, electronic file transfer, and ATM. The main goal of the project was to reduce the operational overhead of capture and post capture departments of the company.

Role

Responsible for carrying out TECP, ICRE and RID validation from different types of files for check clearing which client provides I was also responsible for validation of checks flowing between various regions as well as between various financial institutions.

The focus of the project was to have a quality web based application for the client. Also, our aim was to improve operating margin of the media management services handled by the retail store. Understanding requirements of Web Based application of the retail chain Responsible for writing test scenarios and test cases in initial phase and later test execution. Maintaining and following-up of the defects in Quality Center.

This project involved development of basic banking application using various Mainframe technology and applications such as CICS-COBOLDB2. Functionalities include opening and closing of account and locker maintenance, funds transfer, deposit and withdrawal and Report generation. This project showcases interface between GUI (maps) and application program (CICS-DB2) As a crucial member of the project, I was involved in developing report generation applications. Worked on modules which included both mini statement and Customized statement
