WHITE - THANK YOU A difficult journey in our lives ended on January 20th. We, the family of the late Kenny White, wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to family, friends, employers, coworkers and members of surrounding communities for the love and support we received during Kennys illness and since his passing. Thank you all for the many cards, phone calls, emails, visits, prayers, food, monetary donations, kind words and hugs so freely given over the past year. Special thanks to Roma and Erick for walking beside both Kenny and myself. We could not have made it without you, figuratively as well as literally to many appointments - you know how he felt about my driving. In Kennys words You are angels. Thank you to doctors, nurses and staff of the Cancer Care Centre in Halifax, Chemotherapy Clinic nurses at the Colchester Regional Hospital, Palliative Care nurse Dawn Martell, VON, EHS, Dr Boudreau, Dr Altenkirk, and Dr Smith. Your care and concern was genuine. Thank you also to Reed Allen and staff at J Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Chuck Paterson, pallbearers, to those who opened and closed the grave and Noel Road Community Club for the reception. The last year has been full of trials - both emotional and physical for Kenny, as well as all of us. We hope tomorrow will be full of memories of a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and our pain of losing him diminishes with the passing of time. We are comforted and strengthened by the love and support we received. Your kindness will remain a part of us forever. Cobequid District School Primary Registration

Primary Registration will be held on Monday, February 20th. This is a time where new students will meet with the Public Health Nurse and a Dental Hygienist. Parents are asked to bring a copy of the students Birth Certificate, their Health Card and proof of residency to be able to fill out all of the necessary paperwork to register their child for the 2012-2013 school year. We would ask that you call the school to make an appointment. The appointment times will be approximately 15 minutes in length. Later in the Spring all of the new students and their parents will be invited to attend an orientation session where they will get a chance to see the school in more detail, participate in some welcoming activities, and find out more about Cobequid District School. This date will be determined by February 20th when people arrive for registration. If you have any questions, please contact the school by phoning 369-2960. If you know someone who has a child starting school in September that may not see this information please pass the word along.
