N and K are playing in the playground, they are kicking the ball to each other, N stop kicking the ball and look up in the sky, she put her finger up

and said look birdie , K look up too, a swarm of birds fly in the sky , N & K look up and run follow the birds and said Birdies

Analysis:

From the 2 observations in this assignment and other observations during my Placement, it appears that children interested in Birds, we can see that when child Y asked me about the feather, then pretend he is a bird by saying quak , also when N and K followed the birds in the playground. I noticed also they are intrusted in birds food, wings, colors and eggs, I decide to be more specific in this project by answering all their questions not in direct answer, but through activates, and they are going to use all their sense , touch, smell, hear, see. According to A Chronological Approach text book Pg. 11 , Jean Piaget theory ( Children learn through exploration and all using their senses) . Also I am going to help them to use new words (know some birds names) and

tell them not all birds flying , for instance (Ostrich , Penguin and Hens ) . This project going to help children be cooperative, it will involve of good communication skills for them , it well help them improve language specially Children with special need in the center.

My First Web with the Children and Common Experience:

At the dramatic center I set with the children and I told them: I saw you so many times while you were outside run after birds and follow them , then I asked them an open ended question what do you know about birds , then all the kids in the dramatic center take turn to talk what they know about birds, after we all together come up with this web include all the ideas that I can translated to activities .

Birds Project
Dear parents: According to my observation, I noticed the children are interested in (Birds), while we are in outdoor play they keep watching up to the sky looking for flying birds, so I decide to expand this topic and put it as a project about birds. I am going to help children explore on this topic by using all their senses, and Im going to cover all the developmental domains, that will be in the beginning of November. Im sure we are going to enjoy this project. Sincerely
