friendly eye on events

Ride to the End Open House OMNI Center, 3274 N. Lee Ave, Fayetteville Saturday, Dec 11th, 2:00 - 4:00 pm We met with the Riders when they attended meeting a few months ago. Now OMNI is collecting collecting care package items to send to the Riders... they're heading for Florida to spend the winter. Donate protein bars, Emergen-C, glucosamine tabs, teas (especially Throat Coat... you can tell they're not enjoying the winter ride), healthy snacks, and big, warm socks to send the Riders as they keep riding and talking about the Afghan war. This week they're in Nashville and will pass out flyers at Fort Campbell. Get updates Saturday, and hear their new CD of Ride music, in this special prerelease event. You can get an early copy for a holiday gift. Only chance to purchase until the official release in January.

not garbage rummage!

We will be keeping to tradition and holding our usual rummage sale in late winter/early spring of 2011. All proceeds will go to benefit Community Emergency Outreach. Start sorting out your drawers, cupboards and garages; and keep watching for future details of venue and date.
